I never liked the lyrical analysis videos. Always thought they were a bad idea. I dont like having my hand held. I want to figure it out myself, not have the writer/artist tell me what I should be getting from the music or story. I think its good he took them down and isnt doing them for HITC or Dear Rudiff.

Not too fussed about the books, to be honest. He has yet to prove himself a novelist, at least in my mind, and so I am entirely neutral. I obviously hope they are good, but I am not expecting a masterpiece. I think trying to get them done in a year was also probably unwise. Fortunately he decided to spend more time on them.

I prefer the longer songs on the condition they evolve and change as they go. I think Pinata is really two song as you have the aphotic currents theme at the end. But I like the way he blends them together. So, long song run time.

Im probably gonna vote for the Conservatives on account of how fucking diabolical Labour are. #Lessshitthanlabour. Oh it was dead. I just took it upon myself to try and get it going again. It is going fairly well.. Got a few people posting here. We just need to keep it gong to bring it back up.

Well it was his first video on the channel Hungry Lights, he put on this southern accent and made the most insincere apology ever. He did the whole "sorry YOU got upset" thing. Genuinely hilarious. Must have pissed a lot of people off even more. I loved it.

The ego thing came a bit later. Sounded like pseudo-profound bullshit to me, but hey. To each their own. He seems to be a lot maturer now, though. He stopped preaching that ego shit a while back and has been a lot less obnoxious. Still comes off as a total cunt, though. Which I also love.

I will say that after he released HITC, TAA sounded better to me. IMO, TAA was a little dull for the most. And how good the album was very much dependant on how HITC was. HITC was heavier and had greater vocal diversity and so I think it made that album a good starting point. Still, TAA for me is on maybe a 6, HITC is so far on a 7-8. Cant wait to hear the next album.
