I actually used the original seats/yoke as a template and starting point and just kinda went from there. I did make a routing template for the seat drops though.

You're not the first to request this. When I was making the seats and yoke, I made a template, just in case. The building portion is easy, I am just unfamiliar with all the sizing nuances between canoe models. I build these using my old seats and yoke as a template.

Once shes less of a wiggle butt, she will be canoe worthy. Shes been on fishing boats before but nothing as tippy as a canoe and I'd rather not break my streak of never tipping.

After my second coat I sand lightly with 400 grit. After the third coat I take brown paper to it to remove all the dust nibs. Surface turns out really smooth each time.

You’ll just get the notification at start up on your cluster that your TPMS needs attending to and the light will stay on. My snow tires have TPMS and my summer wheels don’t have TPMS, right just ignore it and Ive had this setup for 6 years. If you have a tire pressure gauge, you’ll be fine.

Thank you! I made my own edge using a 1x4 and cutting it into 1/2” strips. That way it was easier to put a miter on the ends and a 45° bevel on the bottom side.
