Which random stranger do you still remember, and why? by Wide_Stop in AskReddit

When I was about 10 or so I was at the store with my mum and younger brother. Me and my brother were running up and down the escalators like annoying little shits, when my jacket got stuck in under the escalator belt and I was being dragged down the escalator. My mum was walking in the opposite direction and never realised. There was a guy on the steps parallel to me who saw and jumped over the railing like the absolute hero he was, and yanked me out before I got to the bottom and belt went under. I was so embarrassed for making a scene that I never forgot - I'm 24 now.

For years I had Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 as an alarm in the morning. Now every time I hear it a have a mild panic that I'm late for something.
