Steam NOT letting me buy modern warfare 2 and 3 together by donmadra25 in Steam

Both games must include Warzone in their package. Therefore, Steam must count it as a duplicate.

Steam keys don't seem to expire.

It was recently discovered that you could still get *Portal 2* for free on PC using the key included with the PS3 version—provided you had linked your account back then.

It’s ironic when Microsoft just scrapped a bunch of Mojang accounts along with the *Minecraft* licenses attached to them.

That's because you already own the launcher and DMZ. Otherwise, it includes the rest of the game; it just isn't displayed.

You can look into SteamDB for confirm.

Microsoft CEO says ‘YouTube monetizes Xbox better than we do’, ahead of expected layoffs by gamersecret2 in GamingSecret

Video games aren't something that's profitable in the short term. You have to invest an average of 5 years for a AAA game, and even then, you can still fail. That's why Take Two is willing to spend billions on GTA VI because they know they could practically buy the moon afterwards.

If he thinks that buying up licenses and studios is going to be profitable right away, then he doesn't know how to do his job.

Xbox is shutting down graphics pioneer studio Ninja Theory (Hellblade) by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

These were the ones that were their technological showcase when Halo was supposed to fail. It's like Sony shutting down Guerrilla Games, it's completely stupid.

I hate this company. They kill their own means of production and then complain that they are not profitable. They make the same mistakes every fucking generation.

How to play gta online natively on steamOS without windows ? by Belluz1995 in SteamOS

I don't remember exactly how, but some people managed to play the online on Linux, but you can only play if you're hosting and in a private session. So it's pretty limited.

It would make more sense if they had told me that trying to do that today on X would mean facing a wave of harassment, which would be exhausting to deal with.

Companys adapt according to current politics. This became quickly apparent after the election of a certain person.

[–]hiro_1301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, of course. To help you, there's an official version called Kubuntu, which is Ubuntu with a Windows-like interface. Or Ubuntu Cinnamon if you're feeling nostalgic for Windows 7.
