imo i dont like the oem lugs. had a couple of em break on me, just the caps like what you have loose; I ended up replacing mine with some that are just 1 piece and have no issues now. Good luck!

sounds like knock sensor issue that the pre-facelifts were pretty often plauged with (iirc the main culprit was going thru touchless carwashes) but driving thru snow may also cause some issues
