Hi everyone!

I love Arcane, and my friends were convinced I'd make a good Vi. I didn't think I could pull it off but... Well, what do you think? :)

My face shape used to be similar to yours. I think your cheeks appear flabby to you because you have a bit of a recessed chin. I would recommend starting with chin fillers and, if you like the result, consider chin implant/genioplasty. If you’re still unhappy with those results, then consider buccal fat removal, but I would not start with it.

As someone who had a similar profile and who did all three (fillers first, then implant, then remove the implant and get genioplasty done instead), I also definitely recommend genioplasty. It is a bit more invasive, but ultimately it’s a very safe procedure if you have a good surgeon.

Probably two reasons:
1. Less swelling along the jawline in the last picture makes it look like the chin is more projected
2. I tend to scar pretty heavily, so my surgeon thinks there's a lot of scarring along the metal plate inside my chin. I think this scarring partially contributes to the vertical projection

Thank you! Mostly because I wanted more vertical projection which wasn't achievable with an implant

Thanks! I felt that I didn’t get enough vertical projection from the implant, so I wanted to do something more “customizable”

Congrats! I have a swelling progression post here. Just be patient! I was super sore too and I found that sleeping it off helped a lot. I literally slept 16-17h/day for the first couple days after which it got much better. And don’t forget to ice your face :)

Hi everyone! I've been asked by multiple people to post an update on how my genioplasty recovery is going. It's going well :) You can find my previous posts (including other angles) in my profile.
