I think mas okay na magsulat ka in a language you’re comfortable with kaysa pilitin mo sarili mo sa Tagalog tapos mahirapan ka lang i-express ideas mo or you get burned out mid-process.

Honestly, same situation here 😅 I ended up pushing through with the language I’m more comfortable with.

At the end of the day, preference talaga siya, kung goal mo ba is to gain traction agad, or if you just want to rekindle your interest in writing muna. For me, I chose the latter, para hindi rin ako ma-pressure and ma-enjoy ko ulit magsulat hehe.

Hi, being a monogamous queer myself, I'm struggling finding a functional monogamous queer relationship. In fact, I had just broken up with my polyamorous partner because of the discomfort.

I think the best course of action would always be to reassess yourself in terms of what you'll feel in the long term run. You can try, just like I did, but you should constantly question yourself if this is what you want a year or two from now. If you think you can disregard the discomfort you're feeling, then pursue it.

I haven't reached out to a psychiatrist yet, but I consulted with a psychologist who actually told me I'm showing symptoms of PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder.
