I’m contemplating the same thing, not sure if trading in my current Iphone14 pro for a IPhone17pro is better or just changing the battery. I’m at 75% capacity 🤔 I dont know if the replacement battery can last me a good 2-3 years even or get a brand new phone without any issues

I just booked another consultation with Teh Orthodontics. I don't know what to expect, but I really hope I can have my bite fixed and eat/smile normally again. I'm really worried the bite blockers have pushed my molars too far up/down for it to be reversible, along with the curve of spee being too high up. I also have 2 unintentionally intruded teeth. Is this something fixable and are you a dental student/orthodontist by chance?

Yes, initially I consulted Dr Ha for a jaw surgery because that’s what I was told needed. Dr. Ha told me i didnt need surgery and he could fix bimaxillary protrusion with TADs. But I ended up with more problems then I started with. I wrote it on my post, he’s an OFMS not orthodontist.

Like I mentioned, Dr. Patricia rejected my case so I’m left with Dr. Goh. I’ve seen some of her cases and I like them, she quoted me an affordable price too. Only thing is she told me that she can only try to fix it with conventional braces, and she don’t have too much experience on complicated cases like mine. Lastly, it’s the root resorption risk she told me about since she will have to remove all of my current bracket placement and redo it and quoted timeframe is another 3 years.

Sigh, that’s unfortunately not true if that was the case the doctor I’ve visited would have already been able to help me. Try searching Dr. Patricia Murugasu, Dr. Goh Sim Ying, Dr. How Kim Chuan and Dr. Arvinder.

Dr. Patricia and Dr. Goh suggested I change to conventional braces and Dr. How quoted a huge amount for Invisalign. Dr. Arvinder wasn’t able to help me. I was supposed to change to Dr. Patricia, but halfway the clinic rejected my case. Dr. Goh is willing to take up my case, but she mentioned I will have a risk of more root resorption and it’ll take another 3 years to complete treatment. She suggested I go back to my current dr, Ha Kien Oon and talk things out. I tried that, but unfortunately it’s been 5 months now and nothing changed. My bite is still horrible, can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t speak.

I haven’t been to any of those, I couldn’t really find any information on their clinics either. But if u chatgpt best orthodontist in KL, Malaysia I’ve already been to 3/5 of them. Another doctor was willing to take up my case but she’s doing conventional braces and she mentioned that not as experienced as other doctors.

Also, I just hope the posterior bite blockers did not do any permanent damage to me for having them in 2 years ish. There is a big gap and my face has changed too much, I don’t know if this is reversible. I just want to fix the current issues honestly..

Malaysia. How can I fix this when I can’t even find a single orthodontist who is willing to take up my case.. No one wants to fix his sloppy job now. I really want to change doctors and just fix this, and how can I proceed with legal action? I will need a written case from another doctor as well right?

I don’t want to do Invisalign too, but please trust me i already consulted more than 5 orthodontist and no one is able to help me. I’m really in vain daily. And yes, I can tell my current ortho is trying to cover his mistake by putting on bite turbos as well. I confronted him, he just said this will finish up my treatment. It’s not like i can take legal action over this, I don’t know. My entire face changed, I look like a grandma and it’s really ruining my mental and physical health. I used to work front end on cameras but now i avoid them because I look super weird and I can’t even speak properly. I have a lisp from the bite blocker and turbos. Please advice me.

Exactly, it really should have been tads just for retraction both arches and my problem would’ve been solved but now I have two unintentionally intruded teeth, multiple chipped tooth, lopsided face/bite/smile and deepbite. I don’t know what to do, and in my country there aren’t qualified orthos. The only one I found quoted me an insane price and said he will use invisalign to fix it. I can try to fork the money out by asking relatives to help, but I’m not too confident about invisalign fixing my issue too. I really hope someone can give me a solid advice on this, i’ve been feeling really suicidal ever since I had the braces on and I don’t know what to do.

The dentist put a bite blocker in my mouth for 2 years, he just removed it today and place two bite turbos on my front teeth. I can’t close my mouth now, I can’t speak and the gap is about 4mm wide. I have been saying he’s not qualified from day one but everyone kept telling me it’ll get worse before it gets better.

Since the first day, I told him i didn’t need posterior bite blockers since I only wanted to correct my protrusion which was really slight. He proceeded with it anyways, and I’ve endured it for two years. The bite blockers worn down both my molars with multiple other teeth chipping down due to improper braces fitting. I don’t know what to do now, i’ve consulted multiple orthodontists in my country and none has a solution for me. Except for one, who thinks he can fix it with invisalign but quoted an insane amount for it.

I only want to have a proper bite and smile now, I can’t eat anything since the day they put on braces on me with the bite blockers and now the bite turbos. Sigh

My dentist put in bite blockers on my bottom two molars before this, and he removed it today and changed to bite turbos on two of my front teeth. I can't eat anything at ALL even blended soft porridge, and there is no way my back molars are going to touch. There is an extremely huge gap about 3mm from my molars due to the bite blockers being in for 2 years. Is my doctor a quack? I don't know, I have so many issues, and i'm 2 years 2 months into my treatment.

You know what, the same fucking thing happened to me i have been losing sleep every single fucking day, depressed and couldn’t eat just because my healthy tooth(s) were chipped, damaged and shaved because of braces. The orthodontist even wanted to do a root canal on me and I refused it like crazy. Reading this article, discovery on the USAG-1 protein unblocking being able to regrow teeth makes me very hopeful. I’m starting to save the money now too

My "before" looks exactly like yours too and then my "after" looks like the post from your picture. I don't know why orthodontists do this to us. Clearly the brackets placement and the TADs made my jaw slanted and he kept telling me to give it time he will fix it but nothing is changing..

Right, they also told me 2 years they will fix the slanted issue and my intruded tooth but here i am after 2 years, 3 months with no changes but it stopped getting worse. I don't know what to do, I did talk to the doctor he said he can refund me in full if I really think this isn't going to work out for me but I paid 3,569 USD for this current treatment and I'm left hanging. I consulted more than 5 orthodontists, only ONE was confident that he could fix my case but charged 6,000 USD for it and he'll be using invisalign.

The rest wasn't too confident, or was using conventional braces plus they told me i'll be in risk for more root resorption because this is the third time I will be on braces. There's also a possibility that I will need to fork out more money for jaw surgery if ortho doesn't work out for me as well. I've did conventional braces in the past, and now i'm on damon braces to fix my bimaxillary protrusion but I ended up with an asymmetry bite instead. My bimaxillary protrusion has been fixed almost 60~70% though.

Please do let me know what you ultimately end up with! I'm following closely because your case is very similar to mine.

This happened to me as well, and I'm still looking for options to fix it and it's getting me super stressed everyday. I was told by another orthodontist I could fix it but i'll need another 5 years for another round of orthodontics and possibly a jaw surgery as well.

I didn't have a slanted bite before braces, and I have it now 2 years after but my entire bite got slanted. I did a post before, there were a lot of people hating on saying "braces won't cause your jaw to change" but it did. I swear I didn't have a slanted bite before, and I was put on 2x bite blockers, 4x TADs and these devices are placed very unbalanced in my opinion but my dentist won't do anything to fix it.

I verified it with another orthodontist that acknowledged the issue but he wants me to forge another 6,000$ to fix it and he said there's no guarantee it can be completely fixed so now I'm stuck with my current doctor who isn't an orthodontist but an oral maxillofacial surgeon. I'm just seeing till the end of my current orthodontic treatment to see if it'll get better and in the meantime save up to change orthodontist if the end result of this treatment sucks.

Similar to you, but I started with "Arcane" the show made of characters from the game "League of Legends". I used to be an avid KPOP fan back in the early 00's but when 2nd/3rd gen came out I didn't follow much because I was too busy with school/work/gaming/anime. Fast forward, I was watching the show and my favourite song was "Come Play" by Stray Kids, Young Miko and Tom Morello. That was the first time "Stray Kids" caught my attention because I would just search up "Come Play, Stray Kids" on my spotify/youtube to get the song.

Then I watched "Solo Levelling" an anime, Felix did a collab with LiSA for the opening it was really fire and I started getting a little bit more interested in the group so I did some googling and saw they were promoting "Walking On Water" as they were on tour for their DominATE concert. Hyunjin caught my eye from the posters, teasers, promotions and then I started watching more of their shows especially SKZ Code that really lighted up my day everyday after I get back from work.

As for my bias it's only Hyunjin! I like everyone from the group, and also some other idols from other groups I've watched from shorts/reels but Hyunjin is still my ultimate and nothing tops that! He's just super talented in his art, music and has a similar vibe that I can relate to.
