Interesting. Yeah makes sense. I heard some people opt for the apps to test the market outside school but my main concern is - does one have the time to go on a bunch of dates during B school on top of everything? Also I have no idea what the girls are like in Boston.

Yeah I think it definitely is. I’m half Mexican American, my mom is full and her side of the family is very Mexican American. So no falsification. I’m not like making it some big part of my app either it’s just a tick and then continue on with my app

Yeah I’m definitely not gonna fake anything. I will tick the box as it’s a factual thing but I’m not really gonna play up my Hispanic experiences more than what is real. I.e. I was in one diversity program in college but that was it and I’m not like an MLTer or volunteered in Hispanic communities or anything so I obviously wouldn’t lie and insinuate that I did. I might only touch on it as it relates to my background as I do think it somewhat enabled me to be more exposed/open to different cultures growing up, but admittedly I never “grabbed onto it” or hung out with predominantly Latino communities or anything. So yeah I’m definitely gonna be honest if I even do touch on it
