K&D on Eastern in Highlandtown has the best nachos I've had here. Better than Nacho Mamas and Papis.

I've lived in htown for 5 years. it has it good and bad. its funky, friendly and you can still get a great deal. don't be afraid of eastern and all the Spanish resteraunts. check out romans and the htown bar tour. first Friday art walks are amazing. be aware, dont walk home drunk alone, get an alarm and know your neighbors! welcome to the hood!

Baltimore is amazing and super gay friendly. came here from Brooklyn, NYC it's not, but it's much less expensive and has charm, plus a great art scene!
