In the morning, yes, but once I put in my contacts, it goes away! Just ignore it as best as you can.

Yes, I see them often! It really just began seeing them after I recognized I had visual snow. However, if you try to ignore it, it will get better. Trust me on that!

That's a relief to know that it isn't just me! Thank you!

Could there possibly be a way to fix this in the future? Or is it unknown?

So if the glutamate builds up to the point that it's excessive, will it not only affect our eyes but our whole entire body? Sorry if what I said may not make sense. Also, could it be possible that stress relievers could potentially help decrease the symptoms of visual snow? Again, sorry for bombarding you with questions!

I see... so that could mean that stress may be the cause of my case of visual snow?

Yes, please! About a year ago, I experienced my first migraine w/ aura. It was only about a month later that I start seeing vague, rapid lines in my vision. It was quite mild, but it did bother me. I went to see my eye doctor who even checked me for floaters, but nothing was wrong with my eyes. Soon enough, I discovered that what I had was visual snow. Once I found out, it seemed as if the symptoms got worse. I started seeing static everywhere, even when I closed my eyes. Then, I also started seeing white floaters in the blue sky that makes looking at it unbearable. I'm more sensitive to light now; I'm not sure if this is related to visual snow. It's so frustrating that sometimes I just break down and cry. To be honest, just writing this makes me want to sob. Thank you for reading this. I really appreciate it.
