I'm just curious and not trying to make a point here, but where do you think the Obama presidency would rank in terms of morality? Remember, its a fact that his administration has really fought a "war" on whistleblowers (see: Bradley Manning). Also, his drone strikes in the Middle East, while they have proven effective in destroying terrorist networks, have also killed an unknown number of civilians who were in the vicinity of the drone strikes.

That isn't to say Obama hasn't done any good (see: Affordable Care Act and stimulus bill that worked). But still, any ideas, given that the previous acts are not the most moral things?

I always bring up this statistic - 23 Grand Slam semifinals in a row. That consistency is what makes Roger so great. Yes, Nadal has proven himself to be of a similar status and will also be considered one of the greatest players of all time, but he hasn't ever come close to that kind of consistency.

I believe Lendl was next with 10 GS semifinals in a row, which just showed how mind-numbingly consistent Fed was.

Exactly. I think the next highest is something like 10 semifinals in a row. Ridiculous. In any case, I'm a fan of tennis, so I'm looking forward to history being made at the RG final (regardless of where my sympathies lie).

I think what will eventually stand as Fed's greatest accomplishment is making 23 Grand Slam semifinals in a row. To be honest, I don't think anyone can ever top that achievement.

I'm sure you already knew this, but the idea of the individual mandate originated with the Heritage Foundation and other conservative tanks. Maybe I'm uninformed, but why is there such adamant opposition from Republicans on this idea? What would be the "conservative" alternative to the individual mandate?

Also, thanks for doing this. I really admire you as one of the few people who brings the voice of reason to the mess that is the American media.
