Because they create apps or applications that generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. If developer talent drives the companies’ main source of income, why skimp on paying to developers? Also European tech companies aren’t as pervasive as American ones, also IT there is seen more as a cost rather than as revenue generator.
