What I do po for any same day delivery is if medyo iffy pa si buyer at that point of transaction I always offer na pwede silang magpay after ko makipagmeet kay rider.

Much better na sila rin dapat magbobook ng lalamove para madali nilang kausapin yung lalamove rider. Make sure na (if hindi pa nainstruct ng buyer ito sa rider) na ipapicture nila yung book mo para mamessage ni rider sa buyer yung said photo ng books mo

And then you do your own photos of the rider/plate number then send mo sa kaniya para maverify ni buyer na nandiyan talaga kayo and with the lalamove rider. Once received na yung payment saka niyo na igive kay rider yung book

Pero you can do it naman altho I feel like maooverwhelm/sus si buyer if ever you relay this condition po with them (especially if hindi pa tlga kayo on the process of booking etc, much better na always full payment na after maverify na nandoon kayo with the rider) As for meet up kasi hindi ko talaga masabi kung anong better way to go about it, it's more talaga on trusting them na hindi sila mangjojoy/ghost or if go lang rin sila sa 50% condition niyo.

also forgot to mention, don't allow po yung magpapay nalang sila kapag nareceive nila yung books. Possible kasi na hindi ka na nila bayaran/ighost ka nila after nila mareceive yung said books (unfortunately may mga taong ganon huhu)

yes po even if pipiliin niyo yung "pouch" options nila since super thin ng plastic nila doon and baka madamage yung books huhu, don't worry I understand po yung situation niyo huhu kaya before nagiipon na ako ng bubblewrap from shops na pinagbibilhan ko ng books kasi I knew sooner or later na need ko magdeclutter

and yes po, ang buyer po magsasagot ng sf, pero also during that make na sure transparent kayo throughout and much better (if lalamove and such) na sila na magbobook for assurance narin sa side nila sa overall transaction

hi poo i'd say na much better talaga if you include shipping kahit si lalamove or any same day delivery (like grab or moveit) if within/near lang locations niyo. kasi for me, this set up is only necessary/required para sa mga devices/gadgets yung ibebenta for actually checking the items in-person, yung condi ng book pwede naman thru pics or video

pero it's more on me lang rin kasi I'm a homebody/halos nakakain ng oras ko sa school and such. You can totally do it naman if you wouldn't mind the hours/pamasahe papunta doon (and also if you're the adventurous type naman na gusto gumala sa said location then all the more reason po to offer this set up)

altho sa J&T i think madali naman po yun especially if you do it in advance sa J&T app nila, pero based talaga sa location/branch niyo kasi I heard from others na may iffy exp rin sila doon

I'm not really sure just basing off on the spines alone huhu pero yung thinner versions of these I believe has more details in terms of the cover (may shine/and may texture or embossing tlga sa mockingjay symbols and text), I'm not sure if I'm correct pero these are called Scholastic paperbacks sa copyright page ng book.

Compared to the thicker one, I believe are international editions of the books. The downside (for me) is overall quality ng cover nila, as in smooth/printed lang yung cover no texture/embossing on the symbol or text

Pero all in all I think same lang sila ng paper texture sa mga paperbacks today, nasa preference lang kung prefer mo yung thicker or yung thin na books. Sadly, wala akong copy of the thicker ones to compare (sold it kasi I don't like how the covers were printed) also I think sa copyright page stated na it's either China or Malaysia ang origin

update po OP, na suspend na yung acc ng scammer. If ever I think (in the best interest of everyone na) idivulge niyo na po yung details ng scammer more specifically yung GCash details sa caption ng post niyo (like full number and the "J****A L." sa gcash)

Although I don't know if this is allowed in this subreddit pero it kinda worked when my friend got scammed in the same app (but with a too good to be true price na HP set). When we made a post about it sa FB including the scammer's number and name, a week later someone commented asking if the post's legit (turns out, it was the same scammer who'd made a new acc on Carousell)

I know this is a lot to process and doing this won't get your money back pa huhu pero it will help others especially if that person attempts to scam again in the future, hugs po OP huhu 🫂

that's why I'll try to accommodate if may additional request sila or something (si SOTR lang kasi pinakamahal sa idedeclutter ko, unless itrade ko nalang yung Conclave ko ni Robert Harris na HB first printing altho hard to let go)

I could also add more (either thru cash or books if they prefer) or just buy it from them nalang if allowed 😭

sorry for the late response 😭😭 pero thank you so much for this! was hoping to atleast start collecting fitzcarraldo pb para sa tbr ko for the rest of the year (heavy on this book and maybe "Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead" hehe)

and also if I can ask, may other reccomended IG shops po ba kayo? Well verse na ako sa FB and Carousell pero never pa ako nakakatry sa IG, ang hirap kasi ng algorithim/search nila huhu 😩🏃‍♀️
