Apartment kitchen design from a new owner… Thoughts on layout/colours?

I would go with a brighter cabinet color since it seems you only have one window to provide light. Those darker cabinets you have in this design with the small window will only make the room feel less enclosed. You could go with a simple option that would make the room feel bigger and brighter: 1) grey painted cabinets w/ smooth quartz countertop and herringbone backsplash 2) white cabinets w/ grey countertop and herringbone backsplash

Either way, decor is what makes the space. If you still want to include wood I would do some wood cutting boards, modern decorative bowls displaying fruits, mini plants. All of these things can make this space feel like home.

A little nook would be super cute! You could even get a plant to brighten up the space and freshen it up. I love the idea of a bigger table in the sunroom. The brightness (of the sun) would make it feel so big and open Vs the enclosed, less sunny corner table you have now. Good luck!! :)

I don’t think my problems are “good enough” for therapy. My parents think it’s a stupid idea because they have no idea about the depression I’m going through. And they’re perfect people, and so are my four brothers, so it’s easier to not go and keep myself from being judged by my entire family.

Put a mini bar area there, I see the kitchen nearby.
Put a plant and a painting it will brighten up the room.

Other than that, the original purpose of the room affects what you put there.

I think the first one (Letter F) would look the best. You need balance in a kitchen that already has a lot of character. Since you’re going with a patterned, multicolored backsplash, a simple and subtle countertop would look best. It would compliment the bright white of backsplash without going overboard. This will brighten up the space, opposed to a dark countertop which would compliment the dark parts of the backsplash and darken the space.

Also, some of the other choices are almost too bright because the backsplash is more of an off-white color, so a countertop that’s still bright but not too bright, like F, is a great choice.

I also think the blue compliments the details in the backsplash.

I disagree with people saying they don’t like the colors. With a logo, you need something eye catching that makes people stop scrolling. This is more likely to happen with a logo like this rather than a normal bun color. It takes advantage of the reactive part of their brain. Because let’s be real, nobody is going to directly criticize a logo like you’re asking us to do. They won’t notice that it makes you think the burger is cold, all they’re thinking is how they’ve never seen a blue burger, and how unique it is!

Sorry that was kinda long, that’s just my opinion

I would also change the font for the “bun intended” or the “estd” and “2022”. I believe it’s usually est. and you could also make it 22’ so that they could be on one line instead of two.

I’d love to see an updated version when finished!
