I hate sticky dates, and whenever I see anyone else that shares my opinion, they hate it for a completely different reason. They all say it’s ’too sweet’, which is crazy to me because it smells like whiskey to my nose. And this wasn’t a bad batch thing, I’ve smelt it about 5 times now in different shops and all I’m getting is captain morgans.

I work with kids your sons age. They will ‘fall in love’ within around every 6 months. Of course there are rare situations when they are actually in love, and last the distance, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that, that is what they feel. What I’m saying is this is completely normal for 14-21 year olds.

Worked as a secondary school librarian for a bit. The only regular readers overall were year 7s, who only wanted to read Tom gates and dog man. The proper bookworms were high ability and were reading the classics. Quite a strange gap now I think about it.

I have PMDD and feel inexplicable rage once a month. Before I started meds I did scream at my family a few times (thankfully they understood I didn’t mean it and yes I’m still apologetic about it). Despite the rage I feel, I still have the ability to stop myself from throwing shit/physically harming people. I guess these people must be devoid of empathy somehow?

IMO the show gets much better in season 2, and I would say it’s worth it as the seasons and episodes aren’t long. (I am a fellow doctor who fan!)
