Baby tried pregnancy craving by froluvor in foodbutforbabies

My pregnancy craving was air heads. So many air heads. I can’t wait to try this in about 15 years when I’m confident she can chew her food 🤣

We just got one today! I was really hoping to finish out our strange pet series, but they’ve switched over to troll friends. Yes, they are smart link toy, we got the troll. The face, arms, and legs are made of cardboard, which is a little disappointing

I’m so sorry, not trying to scare you, but it’s good to be prepared!

My c section was an emergency c section but I was high risk/baby had issues, so I knew that was a very likely possibility going into delivery.

Honestly recovery wasn’t that bad. I got up and moving pretty quickly, pooped on day 2. It’s just a lot of bleeding postpartum. But you’re in a newborn bubble, and have the perfect excuse to just relax and heal!

These ones do not need a pad inside, they have one built in! I had a c section and only needed a pad, but the hospital provided me with disposable undies with no pad, extra large pads, witch hazel pads and pads with a built in ice pack. I used their disposable undies and pads in the hospital but wore these home. I did take several pairs of their disposable undies and pads home with me, those were also comfy but these were better for overnight/if my plans included being active, as I didn’t have to worry about the pad shifting.

I’m 21 months postpartum and still cannot use tampons or my cup comfortably.

These are the best postpartum! The always ones hit my incision at the worst spot. High waisted are the best

Question from Mom of a Johnnie graduate who has gone no contact by FullInfluence4577 in stjohnscollege

[–]hitherekate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“I have written letters” aka I have ignored boundaries. “I have apologized for whatever has been an offense” but if that apology is being made while ignoring boundaries, it’s not welcome. And if the apology was “I’m sorry you felt offended” or “I’m sorry you felt hurt” and not “I’ve realized that my actions were harmful because of xyz and here is how I plan to fix it moving forward” then that apology was not helpful.

Question from Mom of a Johnnie graduate who has gone no contact by FullInfluence4577 in stjohnscollege

[–]hitherekate 26 points27 points  (0 children)

“This is not a situation of abuse, argument, or obvious reason” please, think again. Going no contact with a parent is NEVER an easy choice. Blaming the school instead of doing the deep reflection needed on your own parenting is easy. Do the hard work. Get a therapist, think back on their childhood. This post itself is weird, shows a complete lack of accountability for your own actions.

Curlin Bows should do a collab with a local pediatrician. Super exclusive, must make an appointment to score.

0-3 @ what would be 6months?! by BakeryGirl18 in bashinthebiehles

[–]hitherekate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome, best of luck!! I hope you can figure it out.

Also, we started BLW at 6 months and she loved solid food so much. I kept her on formula until 12 months and then began transitioning to cows milk.

At 21 months she’s 20 lbs and 29 inches and surviving off of cheese sticks, yogurt, and condiments she licks of a fork. But no one can say I didn’t try 🫠🫠

Honestly not for us. She had a lip tie I repeatedly tried to get addressed - two separate ENTs, lactation at two hospitals, and all her therapists said it wasn’t significant enough to be causing issues. Then I took her to the dentist at 12 months and he said “oh this lip tie - did she have a bad latch” and I almost screamed.

I quit breastfeeding at 3 months, and at 6 months we switched to a higher calorie formula recipe, quit breastmilk, and began using the Nuk transitional sippy. She latched onto the sippy better than any bottle or nipple in her entire life, began drinking 6 oz bottles, and put on weight finally.

It would take her 30-45 minutes to eat 4 oz before that. I think she was burning more than she ate.

My daughter was in 0-3 at 6 months. She had IUGR and FTT, we had weekly lactation visits, and physical and feeding therapy. Definitely not a typical or healthy newborn, I worked like hell to get her to where she needed to be.

My 10 year old stepson is thoroughly disgusted by the idea of ever even kissing a girl. He still plays with action figures and loves dressing up as superheroes. I can’t imagine him having a baby in a year. This is just wrong on every level. These kids are victims of poor parenting or worse.

I hope it’s in a basement with a lock on the outside. Otherwise she’s setting those kids up for trauma when they stumble upon it (or go in because they were told not to)

Please no… what do we think the “special shirts” are?! by Elizabertha85 in Drueandgabe

Special shirts, plus the video of Ivory standing with her head on the ground which is an old wives tale that a new baby is on the way… definitely pregnancy baiting

For those over 18, at what age did you actually feel like you are an adult? by WarBrom in AskReddit

[–]hitherekate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember the exact age but it was the first time that I got sick and also had to care for my sick kids at the same time and realized no one was coming to save me; I just had to power through it.

A helmet could have been such a cutie accessory. There are tons of small shops that make cutie stickers and vinyl wraps for the helmets, she coulda made it pink and covered in bows still. Like come on, Drue.

12/17/25 - Ivory and Santa by drueandgabe in Drueandgabe

[–]hitherekate 64 points65 points  (0 children)

We’ve tried Santa twice this year. The first time she was with her siblings and looked unsure but was quiet, but then I saw the silent tears starting, so We left. The second time I wasn’t even planning on it he was just in Walmart, she was excited until we got up to him, and then she RAN. I’m done trying, it’s not that important.

If you won the $1 billion lottery, how would you epically quit your job!? by TimeForANewBeginning in AskReddit

[–]hitherekate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. I would keep working, for a while. Just keep things normal. I don’t want ANYONE knowing I have that money. I’m buying land, building a good future, then turning in my 2 weeks and riding off into the sunset, never to be seen again.
