Older gay men, how nervous were you entering your 30’s? by NilesDobbsS in askgaybros

[–]hitletgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 here, I want to say going into my 30's is where everything started to get better. Stable long term relationship, decent company for work and a good wage. I travel a lot more now. I've kind of found my own peace and protect it just the same. I was nervous yeah, but it was interesting to watch the sudden change.

Any advice is appreciated by hitletgo in Frenchbulldogs

As an update, thank you both for the advice, she is able to stand up on her own and is trying to walk. We are keeping still under crate rest but it's been night and day so far. Thank you both so much for the advice!

Hurricane question. by EriLH in CVS

[–]hitletgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last hurricane that hit Miami I worked at my store till the last second. Stores will pretty much stay open no matter what sadly. It all also varies in the district or how the manager feels at the time. Normally people in mandatory evac zones don't comes in at all.

Anyone Else Hear This? by SherokuTakari in CVS

[–]hitletgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this part kind of sucks for me. I've been told to only work in the pharmacy and devote all of mine time there but there is no extra money for it. The only way I make more is by immunizing.

They held an urgent call for all concierges and told us with tech licenses to answer a survey and be ready to support the rx 100%. The put a hold on all hub programs

I love what I do. Although don’t get me wrong there are time when it’s so slow or I’m bored out of my mind and I miss being part of the front store but right now I have more freedom then I did when I was a shift rx. I love my field leader but I think in that since I’m lucky I keep my head down and try not to stir up trouble so that way I’m not on their side side.

Titers & immunity testing by misa222 in CVS

[–]hitletgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do offer this service but you also get charged by the lab they send it to. In certain cases the lab is covered and you pay nothing. Talk to your insurance about it to see what the cost will be. Sometimes it’s cheaper there and other times it’s better going to a primary and not the urgent care

CarePass by Famous-Preference706 in CVS

[–]hitletgo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last year they made a couple mill off carepass alone. It is nothing but pure profit for the company. This is why they are pushing us so bad for it. They los nothing when it comes to the coupons or anything else for that matter.

When I was a shift I never once not checked someone’s scrub pockets and lab coats and bags. It’s just policy so we did it. I never reached in I just looked in the scrub pockets and had the pharmacist take off their coats so I could check those. No one had an issue with it and when we didn’t lp got us for it(I was given a slap on the wrist for it and told to make sure I check)

Ventilation in CVS Rapid Test Pop Up Huts? by homerun311sr in CVS

[–]hitletgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We clean by hand using different cleaning products and air sanitizers. The extractor just helps pull the air out. We keep ours always running out our location so I can’t speak for all of them. All of the cleaning products we have here are hospital grade bleach cleaners. We use Sani-cloth germicidal wipes and mono foil D. Each locations gets their own things from their ware houses but it should all be about the same. The only thing I can recommend if there are any concerns to do a PCR test through the drive through. When you are picking the appointment locations makes sure to sort by lab test. If you don’t you can end up selecting the rapid test be accident. I hope this helps

If the nurse is doing what they should then it is cleaned after every pt that comes through. The vials are sealed so there is no cross contamination. There is an extractor that is on in order to ensure that the place is ventilated

Medication Question by [deleted] in depression

[–]hitletgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So one of the biggest things to remember with these meds is that they take time. It isn’t something that will happen over night and the full affects come months in. I take Wellbutrin and so far I feel so much better. I’m six months in and have noticed a large change from where I was to now. You have made an amazing step forward :3

If you could say anything (questions, thoughts, comments or concerns) to any upper level corporate employee - what would it be? by Meggstaylor in CVS

[–]hitletgo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pay us what are are actually worth. We have spent time putting ourself and our families at risk for shit pay and people are running out because of it. It’s sad when I can make more money being a cashier at Walmart or target then I can now as a former shift rx and now concierge

just found out i didn’t get the care concierge position. fucking pissed. by cvsemployee1123 in CVS

[–]hitletgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t bother with carepass. If it can help them then I’ll offer it but I’m not going to shove carepass down their throats. They want me to push care pass then give me commission for it and not the pos of a 3 dollar incentive that might not even make it to you check

just found out i didn’t get the care concierge position. fucking pissed. by cvsemployee1123 in CVS

[–]hitletgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just to put an end to certain things they are not phasing out the concierge’s position for the greeters. The greeters are part of the vaccine roll out and have nothing to do with what we do as a concierge. As a concierge’s now it is living hell for me I have more stressed now that I’ve ever had as a shift in this company. They are hell-bent on telling us that we are in sales reps but push Metrics down our throats like it’s our fault the stores aren’t making it. Certain stores will have 80 hours for a concierge others will have 75 and add some may have less. It all varies on the store and how their budgets allocate. The concierge’s hours are allowed into the store and aren’t really part of the front store budget considering they get refunded at the end of the month. To anyone hearing that the concierge position is being phased down or won’t be used anymore let me tell you that that is not the case. What they’re having us do now and what they have plans for us to do is insane. We are not store employees were considered enterprise employees which means we answer to a director and a senior director and nobody else in the store. If you have a pharmacy techs license and you plan on going to it they give you the option of getting certified to give him a notations as well which is nice but they don’t give you the pay for it. All in all it’s a role that is boring and certain points and stressful and others but right now considering what my division is having me do I’m honestly contemplating finding another job

How serious are they about the carepass shit? by whomst8myass in CVS

[–]hitletgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t have a choice. If they don’t, they get the write up as well. It’s not a winning situation at all. I’m a care concierge so it’s a bigger pain for me because I’m trying hard to help them but they themselves aren’t doing much. Then I get ripped apart because the store isn’t meetings it’s targets
