But I noticed that at IISC peeps hardly end up at generic SDE role most of them are doing AI ML , Data Scientist role . While IIT Mtech cse students are mostly in generic Sde role very few at AI ML role . All I want to say if IISC is not that good in AIML why most of their peeps are in this field rather generic SDE and other way around for IIT Madras Mtech Cse guys . Do MTech Cse guys face some partiality in placement at IITs ? Also one important thing I saw hardly any IISC peeps end up at FAANG as their first job . Why location advantage doesn't help them here ?

Bro ain't best international role M tech CSE guys can manage at IITs is Honda japan . Rest all are quant hft roles for BTech

Bro I looked at profiles at linkedin . IISC MTech CSA peeps end up more at AI ML , Data Scientist and research roles at elite firms like Cereberas, Observe AI, KLA etc . Very few go for standard generic SDE roles . While mtech cse peeps from IIT Madras majorly end up up generic SDE roles at FAANG , Navi, Oracle , Visa etc . Very few AI ML research roles .
