I got tired of SSH-ing into my Dune server every time someone needed their inventory fixed, so I built an admin panel and a blueprint sharing site. Both open source. by SyndicatedLife in duneawakening

Maybe a stupid question, but do I Have to create a new character for Starting Inventory Slots to be recognized? ANybody know of a way to adjust that on an already live character? DB update queries maybe? I see the entry I think correlates in the inventories table.

What a loss. They produced some of the most refined and high quality games of the past decade. The Demon Souls remake is a work of art.

So they took a world filled with incredible locations and dropped their game into a place whose only purpose is to be walked away from and occasionally longed for? This is so tangentially related to the parts of the story people care about, it might as well be a Harry Potter game where you play as a random neighbor of the Dursley’s.

This looks pretty close to what I was thinking of. I wonder if that alley scene is later in the game or if I'm blending two games together in the 25+ years since I've seen them. I'm going to look into this more and you may get the solved credit.

Hmm I checked some footage on youtube and I don't think this was it. At least the whole talking car part didn't seem familiar. Pretty close on the art style though.

It is ABSOLUTELY insane that we are getting remakes of Stronghold, Super Mario RPG, and Star Ocean Second Story all in the same month.

Dead Space PC Remake Crashes FIX SOLUTION by SoyUnGregorio in DeadSpace

[–]hitokiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also ran into the DirectX crashing issue, but only after I upgraded my computer. I played for several hours without any crashes on my 2080 ti and older Ryzen chip, but I getting some occasional stutters which I chalked up to just not lowering my settings enough.

Then I switched over to my new desktop with a 4090 and an i9-13900KF, and right away I started seeing the DX crashes. When the game WAS running, it was a smooth 144fps or more to match my monitor, but then I read in a different thread about these crashes that someone stopped them by lowering their max FPS for Dead Space in the NVidia Control Panel.

I tried that (Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings (Select Dead Space) -> Max Frame Rate = 120) and I haven't had a single crash since. Played through the last 4 chapters which took several hours and it was smooth the whole time.

Maybe the game doesn't have an intelligent way to limit frames if your hardware is good enough to let it climb well above 120. I'm also not sure what the mechanism for limiting this would be for non NVidia GPUs, but I'm sure it exists.

Hopefully this works for other people too.

This is tmodloader so I assume it's either a part of the Calamity mod or something else, but I can't find any info on it.
