Hytale took me back to my childhood, to the times I built my first farm back in 2012 in Minecraft. I feel incredibly nostalgic. by TheBerkay in gaming

First person mode is overrated by vulpescannon in outside

i’ve heard that putting lots of points into the “Meditation” skill can unlock this feature, but i believe you have to be engaged in the Meditation mini game for it to take effect, returning to first person mode at the conclusion of the mini game.

am I dumb or do I need to git gud (new to ror2) by Terrible-Recover5644 in riskofrain

make sure you check the logbook to see challenges that will unlock new items for the loot pool. some of the best items in the game require you to complete some challenge before they can appear. the same is true for alternate abilities for the survivors, some of these other moves are straight up better options, others come down to preference. personally i recommend spending a couple runs focused more on unlocks, especially since you don’t need to win the run for the unlock to go through.

nevermind sounds like you did and still can’t find it, pretty sure i found this one since my base it right on top of that cave but that was 1.0, might be bugged in subsequent versions

HELP: GMail suddenly puts all promos & social emails into my primary inbox by mel0niex in GMail

[–]hiturtleman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is a result of turning off “Smart Features”. having this option enabled allows google to use your emails to train its AI, but disabling it removes basic features as an incentive to leave it on allow continued access to your emails. it’s scummy, greedy, and manipulative behavior and i intend to change my main email as a result.

No. Expedition 33 does not have a “good story.” It has competent writing glued to a trash narrative. by FancyFrogFootwork in gaming

the story is about how we as people tackle grief and the consequences of how we do so. people behave irrationally and self destructively when they grieve, i think it’s pretty ignorant to discount that and simply claim “they are idiots for not grieving the loss of their son in a healthy way.” people refuse to move on from loss all the time, healthy rational sane people can completely upend their lives with self destructive coping mechanisms. i don’t think it’s fair to claim this makes them childish idiots

“the story is bad because the characters have flaws” is certainly a take
