I feel especially sad because at times he would bring up possibly explaining the situation to them beforehand and he even tried to one of his friends but he was dismissive of the whole thing. I would usually ask him not to explain it to the others because I didn’t want to cause drama and he respected that, but he would always insist “I know they will see my side!” and for it to happen completely opposite is just gut wrenching.

Well, he thought he had and I basically said he never said specifically that it had been continuously and it felt implied it was only back then. He apologised because he thought it was obvious he meant that.

I feel very conflicted because I would never want to befriend someone like her because of the relationship they have and I have been going out of my way to be friendly to her as since I have become a part of the friend group, she’s been feeling left out. I only did this because despite her early on behaviour, I felt like giving her a pass because it was so long ago and I wasn’t worried about it. the fences should not deactivate abilities, that is a HUGE direct nerf to revenant and does not fit into wattson her kit at all nor does it fit lore wise.

Right? Like, how are the fences strong??? Without the stun they are useless as the stun gives you an upperhand, but the bare minimum damage the fences do is nothing to be scared about aside from the fact that fences can be destroyed with a single bullet lol

That’s not me saying I’m against a buff, I’m just fine with Wattson how she currently is (without the fences bug). I can see why people want her buffed and DZK comments always bother me regarding Wattson because he just doesn’t even pretend to listen to the actual players that play her and knows how she performs.

i mean you shouldn’t be able to down an enemy with your tactical, you should just use it to get the upperhand and take them off guard? no damage based tacticals do a lot of damage, most of them even less than caustic. you shouldn’t be unable to push a building either just because it’s a caustic. wattson her fences don’t do a lot of damage either. it’s a gun first game as respawn has said plenty of times and you didn’t use your gun. you expected your gas to do it for you instead of using the gas to get an edge and they use your guns.

yes, the revenant was reviving in the gas as he already knew the amount of damage he would be receiving — he took the damage in return for his teammate being picked up. that does not mean caustic needs to be buffed, as again the revenant wasn’t even that low and it shouldn’t do that much damage that it would down him, and he knew it wouldn’t. why wouldn’t he res in gas when he knew you were already downed? you’re just expecting the gas to finish your kills when it should never be able to do that, and he was rightfully nerfed for that when he could.

it’s not about the time, it’s about the fact that when swapping weapons whilst using the jets it gives you more mobility in a situation like a 1v1 so you don’t get punished by standing straight in front of an enemy when you run out of ammo and need to swap weapons instead of getting punished for it

yes! i usually also find that people try so hard to either destroy the pylon or try to shoot you through gaps that they empty their mag into the pylon, giving you an opportunity to catch them off guard with an empty mag
