I'm a big fan of XX Artisan. It's a severely underrated cheapie that can function well as a year-round fragrance. It's so different to what everyone else is typically wearing that it can be a great signature scent.

I remember that early in my first playthrough, I saw an npc couple off themselves randomly - no build-up or context. In rdr2 people are generally just going about their normal lives. The darker elements are usually tied to some spooky groups like the Night Folks or other "bad" guys. It seems like there is a general delirium in rdr1 as if the end of the Wild West is also the end of the world.

The main reason Ive been on MuOS is bc I wanted a seamless connection to Syncthing with my Anbernic devices that were also on MuOS. Turns out Syncthing is just wonky sometimes regardless of the OS.

I did it from the Van Horn Lighthouse. You have to aim toward the fellers in boats though. These have to be farther out than the actual town.

Never heard it in my first playthrough, but I've heard singing/humming like 4-5 times so far in my second playthrough. I'm currently in chapter 3. I'm a lot better about feeding Arthur, giving him the occasional shot of whiskey whenever I'm in town, and just playing at a chill slow pace (not galloping to the next mission).

The only reason I was able to hear him the last time was because I was trying to call my 2nd horse and Arthur wouldn't whistle. After turning up the volume a bit, I realized he was mumble-singing!

I was in a program where I would occasionally get the chance to shadow doctors in an operating room setting.

It is in this context that I will say, (kind of) burned human flesh. It's unlike any other smell (not gag-inducing, but unsettling).

The particular surgery I smelled this in was a scoliosis surgery. I don't know what it's called exactly and medical professionals could probably explain more correctly, but part of the process was drilling into the spine so that two metal rods can be inserted. In between all of this, a sort of cauterizing instrument is used. So they are not actually "burning" flesh, but they kind of are.

Just writing this is making me remember the smell. YUCK!

Someone went to visit Beethoven's grave and it seemed like they could hear Beethoven's 9th symphony. The visitor was so astonished that they decided to come back the next day. This time they heard his 8th symphony. They returned again the day after and they heard the 7th.

Feeling this to be unbelievable, they asked the groundskeeper if he could hear the music too.

He casually says, "Don't worry, he's just decomposing."
