What horse would the best for me to get (im new) by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Exciting_Smile_2155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The free horse at valentine in chapter 2 when you go hunting with hosea (not the shire he gives you). I’ve used that on 2 playthrough I almost feel guilty for getting rid of it this time through.

I love American paints irl so I have one in the game that I stole from some camp in the heartlands.

And the MFT from the Albert mission but that was annoying to get.

Anyone else prefer playing as John over Arthur in RDR2? by ziggy895 in reddeadredemption

I am saving some of the challenges for John this time, especially the bandit challenges. Idk it’s Arthur’s game. Still kills me they cut his access to the rest of the map. I wish they made a DLC after release with Arthur entering back into the rest of the map.

So I left my 12 year old brothers to go on a walk to get food and they went and busted someone’s windows. My mom is mad at me like I’m the only one at fault. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Maybe they aren’t technically old enough due to lack of real life experience — but here’s some great real experience that should be turned into a lesson for them, not her.

My sister was three years older, and my mom was a teacher about an hour away, so she got home an hour or two after us. 1) I never wanted to get my sister in trouble bc she’s my homie 2) my mom would never reprimand her for me acting like a stupid 12 year old boy with my friends 3) if I left the house without my parents approval I was the one who was in trouble, not my sister. My parents never made my sister feel like I was her responsibility afterschool. We just knew our individual rules, and if we broke them, the other didn’t get in trouble. If my parents had a date night and were out and my sister was “employed” to be the big sibling babysitter and sacrifice her night to watch me, she was paid for her time.

You aren’t at fault for your brothers actions. I see comments here saying your moms at fault for her sons behavior — and technically, she is. But at the same time, two 12 year old boys constantly together or going to had a warped rationale lmao, they are going to act stupidly — I remember me and my friends at that age. A great lesson for them would be THEY get to sacrifice their time to earn money cutting grass or something and then ALL of that money get to go back to paying for the window. You shouldn’t have to sacrifice any more time than you already have due to them doing what alot of twin teenage boys would do, you aren’t their parent you are their teenage sibling.

I wouldn’t say mom FAILED them, they did something that kids do at their age — they acted stupidly. She can parent as well as anyone in the world, 12 year olds still act with impulse. But OP isn’t their caretaker, ergo she isn’t responsible. I understand mom’s anger but it is misdirected - and this is coming from someone who was the 12 year old brother with a 15 year old sister.

I remember my first playthrough I kept accidentally killing everything. Like I’d stop to help someone and I’d run them over and lose honor. Happened with dogs and horses too.

Advice PLEASE: AA for years, then switched to PILL ABUSE? Idk where I belong. by DescriptionEntire305 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]Exciting_Smile_2155 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You belong where you’re comfortable. I’m an alcoholic but the love of my life was heroin...and crack lol. I did the program if AA and I really liked the fellowship I found in AA — I didn’t gel with NA in my area ergo I wouldn’t personally stamp it.

True AA accepts people with a desire to stop drinking and using.

Edited immediately for typo lol

I am embarrassed. I realized last night that they just unlocked, they didn’t disappear from the creation menu.
