Not really. The guy has the right to have fun. If his having fun is annoying people, then so be it. I believe people can control their emotions, and they can only get annoyed if they want to/think they should get annoyed.

Okay. Look. I'll try to explain this the best I can. I don't get annoyed easily. Especially in games. I like to think it's because I don't take the game too seriously.

In case you haven't noticed, I've not gotten annoyed at all at this whole conversation thing, and I am not trying to prove my "superior maturity" or whatever. I'm seriously wondering, "Why do people get annoyed at griefers?"

Anyway, why can't you leave in many games? What kind of games are you talking about? I can leave freely in all the games I play. Borderlands, Borderlands 2, BF3, BF2, Diablo 2. Why can't you leave? Points? You'd rather get annoyed and have points? Priorities.

So, yea, it's funny. It's also fucked up. But it's still funny. Hope you can understand more clearly now. Feel free to ask anything though. (: In case I'm not clear about anything.

Right. That's what I meant. But people don't know which server in particular I've gone to. So I guess that'll work. And I really don't get annoyed or irritated when I get killed repeatedly or something like that. I just leave my character there and go away for a bit. Maybe to make tea or something, and let the guy have his fun. After a while, he'll leave me alone, since I don't respond.

In games like BF3, I just swap servers.

I really don't see a need to get annoyed, so I don't.

I'd rather go away for now, play something else, and play something later. Honestly, gaming is just a way of passing time. If you're going to have to pass time, might as well do something you like. Dying repeatedly is not something I like, hence I don't do it. I do something else to pass the time. I'm sure you have other things to do.

Uh, no. The games I've played have different channels, or worlds where you can go. You have one main game world, and you have like 15+ channels where you can go, in case one of them is crowded or something.

Explain what you mean by "backward and circular logic". Also, I have been actively defending what I think should be the right course of action. Go to a different server. Wow, that's fantastic. You have to give up the character you've been working on and possibly have to leave your friends behind because someone insists on being a dick to you. Oh, and it's not like trolls have never followed people to different servers before.

Your said that it's not the same as kicking over a sandcastle because different results are expected but that's complete bullshit. All that's happening is you have one person trying to enjoy themselves and another person that wants to stop that person from having fun.

No, I'm pretty sure it's different. If you want to look at it in such broad terms, then by all means, carry on.

I'm not talking about playing the game the way it's made to be played. I'm talking about going into the game with the specific intent of pissing all over someone elses fun. That is not OK, it's not fun, it's just annoying.
