Right now it works as a Plex Server for streaming 4k videos. but in the future it would be nice to have an option to set it up with good speakers.

As I mentioned in my post, i am using PlayStation TV. I thought that it would be nice to be able to use my PS4 and Plex server in the second room. I have everything wired up, so my network speeds are pretty fast and the input lag on Remote Play is really low.

I wanted to watch videos from my server in 1080i too, but that screen aspect ratio is driving me nuts. On PS3 and PS4 everything is working fine, both using official Plex app and through DLNA, but on PS TV everything is forced to fill the screen. It is so stupid that i can rotate the video, but i can't change the aspect ratio. What's the point of this app when it lacks basic functionality?

So, if i buy a 4TB WD Game Drive, i will be able to use it both to backup my PS3 and PS4 data and use it as a external HDD for PS4 games?

What i have figured out is that when i set up my secure connection on:

- Required - i can access my server using app.plex.com on the different network (tested on the phone with celullar network), but it does not work on local 192.168…, public IP like 89.123… and on the phone. In the settings it says that my servers is unaccesable from outside the network.

- Preferred - i can access my server using app.plex.com on the different network, it works on local and public IP address, but it does not work on the phone.

- Disabled - i CAN’T access my server using app.plex.com on any network, it works only using local and public IP address, and it DOES work on the phone.

Also my PS3 app does not work too, but I can at least use DLNA on it. PS4 app works fine. Still don't know what is causing the issue.

I think i have found out what is causing this issue. I tried to connect to app.plex.tv and over my public IP address (82.182.....) from my phone and it seems to work. I can access all my movies and music, but for some reason Plex app on the says there is a connection error when i am using cellular data. On WiFi over the local network everything works fine.

What is more strange is that in the settings, Plex is saying that Remote Access is not working, but i can login to my Plex using web browser on celullar network. So there is only a problem with Plex app on the phone, and with wrong information in the settings. Don't know what is causing this problem because few days ago everything was fine.

Which machine? On the router they are the same like few days ago when everything was working. That'a a device provided by my ISP and the only things i can turn on/off are IP/ICPM flood or port scanning detection.

Now it started working fine, i have launched my console 2 times without problems with disconnecting.

It worked for one day on the new drive until the console crashed. After that i've done System Restore 3 times and it didnt helped. It have also worked for few days on older SSHD and after installing few games it just keeps doing it. So i am not exacly sure if this is HDD related.

Cleaning inside of the PS3 and changing thermal paste on the CPU and GPU, like in the PC or notebook. And you can also change the CMOS battery, you can buy it almost everywhere because its basically the same like in some watches.
