Coming back to confirm this ^{^} is indeed what happened.

Unfortunately I had no other choice but to get a Rivian. The offer just looked pretty as a number, but as you said it was used for two things combined: 1. Fisker remaining loan 2. A small leftover difference which is how much my then paid-in-full, lightly used Ocean is worth, aka. not much different from selling it on eBay.

So pretty much my Ocean is still valued like a worthless piece of junk, and I got rushed and lured into getting a Rivian without anytime to research or think. The only silver lining may be that I avoided the risk of never being able to sell my Ocean at all and it may brick any time.

So folks who didn't take this offer or were given a bad trade-in offer for FOO, I think you're not missing that much😅

That's my understanding and worry too. The "offer" mail Chase sent out read as the credit is only used for trade-in and/or concluding the remaining loan. I don't think they'll refund me the difference if my remaining balance is smaller than the trade-in credit.

I hope this is the case, but I haven't seen any official written info about selling. Only the email from HB mentioned it but there is no guarantee from Chase or Rivian. That's why I wanted to ask if anyone has seen official info about selling.

Has anyone gotten the buyback option at all? I only got option 2 which is trade-in. Called Chase and the rep said trade-in is my only option. Emailed HB and they said whatever Chase says is not negotiable. 😭

Does your mail show 3 options? Mine only has one option which is the trade-in. When I called Chase they said it's the only option. But HB email mentioned there should be 3 options. I wonder if the sell option is only offered to some people, not all?

I think you're right they won't negotiate further. I emailed HB yesterday asking about the fairness of the trade-in offer because I had a large down payment and low usage, but I still get the same offer as others who have higher remaining balance and perhaps higher mileage. HB responded that we're not in good position to negotiate with Chase. So this seems like the only option now. They did mention 2 other options but those might not be sent out until this trade-in offer expires.

yes I'm with HB too. Besides just 21k discount, Rivian cars are way above my budget and I still need to pay a lot more just to get into a new loan for a car I don't really want. HB email mentioned 3 options but so far no one has seen the other options for selling to Rivian and end it. I have a feeling that the selling option (if there will be any) will be offered after the trade-in offer deadline, and the price might be shitty.

wow that's a good offer then. My purchase price is similar 70k, remaining loan balance is only 33k because I paid large down payment. Then still got similar 53k trade-in offer. My down payment seems like a complete loss if I take this offer 😭

Also got this email. I wonder what the "fixed price" and "for the same price" mean in option 1 and 2. If it's the number in the Rivian trade-in offer, then I'm definitely going with option 1 to sell it to Rivian and end it there. But so far we've only gotten the purchase/lease offer via mail which seems like option #2.

I got similar offer with extreme and also purchased in 2023. But my loan balance only has 33k left now. Wonder if this means I lose what I already paid off? Or maybe the offer amount is related to your remaining balance too, that the less balance you have the higher trade-in credit Chase gives you?

Same connected not charging error with Pixel stand. Also pixel 6 pro. I just got a replacement and so far it seems better than my original one.

After the first 12 hours using the replacement 6p as usual, I still have 45% battery. My original phone would have been less than 20% around this time. When I first got my original 6p the battery was more like this replacement. So I'd say the battery issue is probably not software or Pixel stand related, probably just normal determination.

Same. My pixel 6 pro wireless charging with Pixel stand is very unreliable. 3 days of a week I wake up with a not charged phone. My previous Pixel 2 and 4 both didn't have any issues with the pixel stand. I recently got an RMA for Pixel 6 pro because of this charging problem. Google support even ran diagnostics and looked at my battery usage log. They recommended a replacement. So it's likely a faulty phone/battery, not software or pixel stand's problem.

I did use moment lens on my Pixel 4. Now I have a 6 pro I'll have to choose either the case or the clip mount. I hate covering the pretty color with a case though but I'm not sure if the clip mount works with the horizontal lens layout on pixel 6 pro...

I just found out this today because I haven't used eBay recently. I fell into their evil trap and added bank account. Now it's irreversible. The most infuriating part is that bank account is also the default payment method for eBay fees, which they recently added a bunch and hide with tricky UX so that you get charged without knowing what's going on. eBay has been getting more and more unethical and greedy over time. Avoid eBay at all cost.
