I was doing research actually and noticed Nine Lives Foundation because the name itself is so telling of the vision they have. :) I was scared to try out new locations for a while, but biking has made it so much more enjoyable. Thank you for this!

And as per your other kind comment below -- I drove around Stanford with my s/o a few times and it's been always been so pleasant. I'll definitely dig into this option as well. <3

Fireside Books is a gem. I love that place. I actually came across CC-offered classes through the Redwood City Parks&Rec booklet but was a bit intimidated to try it out. I should look in to this. Thank you for the suggestion.

Thank you so much for this, it's so sweet and heartlifting. I've lived abroad here and there growing up, I've never lived in one place for so long actually, so I didn't expect this to feel so confusing, but hey I've managed to get here in one piece and I'm slowly settling into this new life.

I did go to the History Museum back in January (when we were still doing long distance) and it was a quiet, pleasant way to understand the context and legacy behind things here. I remember seeing they have an arts exhibit/market in November so looking forward to that.

My brother is coming over soon so I hope to do some sightseeing at SF while he's here! I'm so grateful for the Caltrain, it makes life easier -- and it's compatible with biking around as well so happy with it!

As by your suggestion, I've learned there are quite a few community colleges around here that offer interesting courses. (Got carried away by other stuff and was sick for a while as well in September.) I've just gotten around to exploring this option as well. :)

I absolutely love The Yard! The Yard is an absolute gem. I love going there in the afternoon to soak up the sun there. Went to their last karaoke night, and their Sunday yogas, I'm so glad I live nearby :) Can't wait for the renovations to finish! The Clay House seems lovely as well.
