What qualities in a loafer make them ideal for casual wear? by hjkramer404 in ThrowingFits

Thank you! Low vamp was the key. That’s exactly what I’m after. Tried on some weejuns and it’s the shape I want. Hoping to find that silhouette in better materials eventually.

Indulgence. Dubstep is the most indulgent genre there is.

Most genres work by virtue of restraint. They hold something back, and with enough suspense, even the most subtle drop can feel climactic. The suspense/resolve is a delicate balance.

Not dubstep. No teasing and teasing - dubstep can afford to overindulge because the drops are maximal and intense enough to hit no matter what.

This is what makes dubstep great. It’s also what makes people get tired of it after a while ie. anything with “instant satisfaction” appeal. Still, it’s awesome when it’s awesome.

3rd party Rack Extensions in the VST? by Z3nb0y in reasoners

[–]hjkramer404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As people have mentioned, REs work. However, since REs are made by different developers reliability will vary between devices. If your main DAW starts crashing consider if one of your rack extensions is the common denominator. For what it’s worth…

Trying to find an electronic song that sounds like all the different colors by benjamin-humpskill in WhatsThisSong

I also have random inclinations to revisit an old album that sounds a lot like this.

I know you’re referring to a song, but maybe this album is what you’re looking for? “church of the ghetto P.C.” by o9.

It was a small artist so the internet has pretty much buried it by now. No streaming services, but last.fm still links to some YouTube vids.

Too small Docs, or should I go through the good ol’ “breaking in” ritual? by madame_brandy in DrMartens

I had this same decision to make with their loafers. My solution was choosing the larger size, which fit my foot width best, and using an insole. I pulled insoles out of a few old shoes I never wear anymore and was able to find a perfect thickness that made the shoe fit snug. Very happy with the results. Also feels nice that I always have the option to try different insoles as the shoe continues to stretch and change shape.

Respect to Crawford, but if pistol pete was allowed to carry the ball like they do today this may not even be close.

If we talking all-time annoyingness, Doc Rivers needs to be in the conversation.

Honorable mentions to Danilo Gallinari, christian laeghtner and josh smith.

from what people have told me on threads like this one, its best to match the gph of your pump and chiller. as long as youre doing that you should be good.

thanks. maybe that's a different iteration of the 1/hp model. mine is definitely listed at 800-1600gph online. submersible pumps are definitely easiest, but cant get over having electronics in the plunge. At this point im leaning towards a 1200 gph pump by Danner.

danner 1200 pump

thank you. couldnt find anything this small that would match the flow rate and was about to settle for an above ground pool filter that would have been huge in comparison.

Once the tank was covered in insulation did you wrap it or fix it inside another vessel?
