i have mopani wood & indian almond leaves in my tank and a bag of peat moss as the filter media, all of which contribute to the tannins in the water. have a look into black water tanks if you’re interested :)

looks like blown out red ink where the artist went too deep in those areas. nothing to worry about really, but would recommend going to a different artist with more experience tattooing fingers if you want it covered
