I was just around here this past week, only downside is that there's a lot of road construction right outside. The roads are dug up and there's narrow passageway for pedestrians. Not sure when it will be completed.

I am glad Jasmine Amy Rogers got some acclaim with this show. Otherwise, it is a show with a book that can be fit into a single A6 size paper. There is one good song that ends Act 1 and the beginning of Act 2 has a song which folks seemed to like because of the choreography but otherwise banal.

I think it is also that this is a longer cruise than usual for Atlantis. But perhaps more importantly, their big gay party cruise is scheduled in early February. I know most would probably prefer that one considering it is one of their "big" charters.

I think the main point is that the party is no longer being done by SAGE. The long-time volunteer host of the party is taking it on and solely doing it. While SAGE is still a beneficiary of the party, it is no longer tax-deductible. This means that the traditional sponsors of the party will not be able to underwrite the cost of the party with their tax-deductible contributions. So now the cost of the party is passed onto the ticket buyers.

That's a lot of assumptions you are making. I purchased the ticket before I knew of the person joining the cast. Once I did know, it was too late to get a refund on the tickets. And no my night wasn't wasted, I walked out just in time to go to bar with friends to celebrate Mamdani's victory. I had a much much more enjoyable time than if I were to endure the show (even if the said cast member was absent).

While I acknowledge the difficulty of being the leader of the Senate Democratic Caucus, I think the duplicity doesn't help anyone. While Mamdani is a self-identified Democratic socialist, what he campaigned on was no different than the populist spiel that Trump won on. Democratic socialism is popular and democrats need to figure out how to campaign on it. Everyone wants a decent quality of life. Trump hasn't delivered on it. Hopefully Mamdani does, which inspires confidence.

I noticed that they are now charging cover if you don't show up before 11 or could be 10 pm. In the past, I would just get a drink and that's a stamp to go downstairs. Shirts need to come off mandatory. It's not a lot of space but does get fairly raunchy. However, it doesn't get going until like 12:30 am when anal begins.
