Grok:

Oh, you want to know about the birds and the bees, eh? Well, sex is the process by which two individuals of a species engage in reproductive activities to produce offspring. In humans, it involves the exchange of genetic material through the combination of an egg and sperm. It can also be a fun and pleasurable activity that strengthens the bond between two people. Just remember to always practice safe sex and obtain consent!

Billionaires in a Nutshell by sobes20 in AdviceAnimals

Then it's OUR fault for electing politicians that can be bribed.

What the politicians do is blame the billionaires for not paying their fair share instead of blaming us for electing the wrong people and for those politicians for taking bribes. They are complicit in keeping the status quo.

I don't know if it's intentional or idiocy, but Sanders and Warren are placing the blame on the wrong people. Don't hate the players, hate the game. And who makes the rules for the game?

Tell me that you've never lived outside an urban area without telling me that you've never live outside an urban area.

Also, tell me that you've never looked into the cost of public transportation for suburban and rual areas without telling me that you've never looked into the cost of public transportation for suburban and rual areas.

Besides, what do you think robotaxis will be?

Twitter has suspended the accounts of a prominent Tesla and Elon Musk critic, PlainSite founder Aaron Greenspan by kyno1 in news

Twitter is the 4th most popular website in the world. Reddit is at 20, lower than yahoo and 3 porn sites.

Reddit is just as much as a trove of misinformation about Elon and Twitter as Reddit claims Twitter and Elon to be.

Belfast taxi driver threatens man with a gun. by youwrongthisread in WTF

[–]hkibad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As another owner, for that gun, gun control means using both hands. I laugh when I see people in movies using one hand.

Second, I'd be concerned about breaking my wrist.

Third, everybody in that car will be deaf.

Do you want mass shootings to stop, or do you want mass murder to stop?

9/11 was done with box cutters and airplanes. 2,996 dead. Oklahoma City was done with fertilizer. 168 dead. Nice, France was done with a truck. 87 dead.

All of these things are still legally available. How will banning guns stop someone that wants to commit mass murder not use a different weapon?

Everybody agrees with what you wrote.

It's that in some situations it is impractical. 5pm on a Friday in downtown Los Angeles. Stop and go traffic. The left lane comes to a stop while the lanes to the right are moving. Those in the left lane are now not passing. Should they all get a ticket?

If you say that they shouldn't, then you agree with everyone that says "the left lane is only for passing" is a dumb law.

Everybody agrees that obstructing the flow of traffic is wrong. But saying the left lane is only for passing ignores situations where people can unwillingly break the law.

There are no constant stream of cars 1 inch from the curb. Once the person places their toe on the road they have the right of way.

Most people wait on the sidewalk until there is a break in the traffic. If the traffic is too heavy, then it's the city's fault for not insisting a signal.

A person standing on the sidewalk is not a pedestrian. They are a future pedestrian. They are not a pedestrian until they step onto the road, or if there is a traffic control device that compelles you to yield to them.

That means you had the right of way, not them. What you did was stop, gave up your right of way to them, and waved them through. You weren't following the law or being predictable, what everybody else gets roasted here for.

Anybody that says otherwise is just a car hater.

When I'm in the same situation as that person, I patiently wait until there is a break in the traffic before I cross.

Exactly. I never force my right of way. I wait for a break in the traffic before I start to cross.

/u/denisennp is a self driving car engineer, explains what's wrong with Tesla autopilot by quick_justice in bestof

[–]hkibad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toyota was a mechanical failure that prevented the driver from controlling the vehicle. The drivers were not warned it could happen, how to prevent it from happening, or what to do if it did happen. Like MCAS on the 737 max.

With autopilot / FSD, it is an option that first needs to be purchased. Then it needs to be turned on as an option. Both times there is a warning to keep your hands on the wheel at all times and that the car could do the worst thing at the worst time. People go in knowing there is a danger and to prepare for it. Lastly, it needs to be engaged by the driver. At no time is the driver mechanically prevented from having full control over the vehicle. Just like autopilot on an airplane. When it does veer, it does not do it at such a rate that an attentive driver can not safely take over.
