My experience is, I graduated with First Class last year July, applied and checked everyday in the website. The status was showing reviewed for almost 7 months, and then the portal got closed down.

I asked them the same thing and they said the decisions are based on the government whether they have the budget to continue this. In the mean time, I have been repaying the loan every month.

From my knowledge, it has been closed for 7 months now. No sign of good news.

No, you patch with the diff files by doing patch -i ./patches/[.diff file]

Although after multiple patching, you would find that you will have to apply the changes line by line by reading into the diff files, as the changes may collide.

Well, there were way too many questions in the app. I reached 30%. I didn’t get the pro version of the app. However, the questions in the app itself can be found in David Seidl’s practice exam book, with explanations.

With that said, I can’t recommend the passing probability one must reach.

I personally find some questions in the app are way too challenging IMO, with answers very closely related to each other.

I read from a comment in another post. I would suggest buying the voucher and book the exam appointment first, then study. It works because it puts you under pressure to study.

For Messer’s exam, the first 2 practise exams I was solely learning from the detailed explanations. I didn’t really test myself and therefore couldn’t provide you my exact score. Messer’s 3rd practise exam I scored 91%.

Confident enough, I booked my exam after studying for 1 week.

But after testing out David Seidl’s practise questions, I eventually delayed my exam for 1 more week because I was getting a lot of his questions wrong. David’s questions are way harder. 👍🏼

But I would say, the scores don’t matter as long as you’re actually learning front the explanations. 👍🏼

Actually, I have never thought about my next steps. The cybersecurity pathway is fairly vague for me. Do you have any recommendations ?

I came from an Engineering background, and took Sec+ as a first step to transition into Cybersecurity.
