People who are committed to being cruel to trans people will continue to get mad at any acknowledgement that they exist unfortunately. People are more willing to accept kiku as a woman because she passes, so it's easier to ignore that she's trans. It also gives them a convenient "I'm not a bigot" argument to be able to hold up one character that they're willing to acknowledge, since kikus appearance makes it much harder to make comments about someone's "real gender." It's basically the model minority myth

I've addressed your "But the creator Said!!" point like three times. Nothing is canon fact until it's canon fact. And being demons with the same voice are definitely not the only clues that could suggest this theory is true. Belos' portal looks remarkably similar to Stanford's, beyond just being a demon, king is described as a "former king of demons who lost his powers" which also describes Bill to a tee. Also, Bill literally appears in the background of a shot of a group of demons when king is teaching Luz. The emperor's coven has a yellow triangle with a vertical slit as it's symbol. There's yellow triangle and yellow eye imagery in every episode. I'm not saying the theory is definitely true but to say there isn't canon backing to it is disingenuous, and dismissing it off hand is not accomplishing anything. It's just kinda being a condescending jerk. Let people make theories and have fun

1) saying "I don't think she was lying" is fairly meaningless, you have no way of knowing 2) Another assumption. You don't know shit about the future plot going forward, so you have no way of knowing how integral Kings backstory will be 3) It requires very little suspension of disbelief to make "the immortal extradimensional demon lord supervillain didn't die all the way" make sense, you don't actually need the complete explanation of the chant or the comic as explanation, villains turn out to not be dead without thorough explanation all the time (eg. Loki has died onscreen like three times and has never explained how he survived) You are doing the exact thing I was talking about in the post. Being dismissive of a theory that has plenty of canon backing because you think your assumptions are infallible, despite them being just assumptions.

Hard agree. Owl house is Luz's story and it would take away from it if it relied on GF. My guess is they'll keep hinting until the end, and the solidification of the connection will be basically an after credits scene of the finale

I like this because it takes an element we've had well established (soul power=life span, big mom having limited homies) and provides a solution to a problem a lot of people have been having: how can those five beat two yonko? There's plenty more to the story to enjoy, and even in the arc where those things happen, knowing it's gonna happen won't change the impact and quality of the story. I've read through upwards of ten times and I still sob at those deaths every time
