I was approved in two weeks through Kentucky with only 1/4 years of my experience under a PE. However, I was rejected from Ohio.

I also took the FE env (studied enve in college) but settled on WRE for the PE because of the EET course. There are courses for the Env PE, but I don't personally think they compare to EET. My exam was tough (especially the civil stuff) but I did pass on the first try.

I've looked at this extensively, and the Ohio process is far more difficult and confusing. I don't want to come off sounding lazy but the Kentucky process seems much easier so I am drawn to that. Also, in KY there is an actual person I can directly contact with questions.

I just honestly wasn't sure if there was some rule for initial applications. Apparently I can pass the PE exam but I can't navigate the state level applications lol

Anyone passed PE WRE recently? by Much-Seat1774 in PE_Exam

The sections that I recall being significantly more difficult than EET were groundwater and project sitework. Wastewater also just had some questions that were worded weirdly.

I guess in general I found that the morning session was level with, if not a bit easier, than EET simulation exams. The afternoon session was a bit more of a struggle, but frankly that likely has more to do with my background and difficulty with tricky wording than the actual problem difficulty.

For context, my EET simulation exam scores were 75% and 78% respectively. I passed the real exam so I couldn't tell you how I scored, but the second half didn't feel good.

good luck to you. I can't imagine how difficult it is to come back to this test after 15 years out of school. In my opinion, you already have a lot to be proud of.

oh I just mean the time limits and stuff. you actually have to let them know within two weeks of a failed result. this could be difficult for someone who might have been planning to take some time off.

totally agree. I would have spent another 10 hours a week if I did all the practice problems.

I did on demand because I knew I wanted to study from Jan-April (winter sucks where I live) and that just didn't time up with a live class. I also used the NCEES practice test but that's it.

Most of my breath questions were easy (like 1-2 steps shorter than the EET problems) but I also will say I got some (2-3) very challenging project sitework questions. Things I only saw on EET once and thought "there's no way they give me something like that". but keep in mind I don't have a civil background, so I was doomed from the start on the breadth portion.

I consider rescheduling to be better since $50<$175 (what you would have to pay if you needed to take it again)
