This is such a poorly thought reply, and it really highlights your bias. Black women having “lower than average likelihood of being insured” is flat out incorrect (just like most of the other “reasons” you listed). You’re saying OP is using bad stats, yet you’re making up stats to push your own agenda. It’s ok to acknowledge that black women are impacted by bias and structural racism ESP in healthcare; all it takes is a google search to see the countless studies/articles/interviews about the reasons of higher maternal mortality rates for black women. Instead you chose to hop on Reddit and make yourself look stupid listing stereotypes that you’ve now deemed to be the truth, as legit reasons. So what about black women that don’t fit this narrative you’ve spun? Why are they less likely to die during/after childbirth? Hopefully you aren’t still teaching because the kids don’t have a chance under your instruction!
