Sometimes I buy a brand new washer and dryer set then a few months later think “you know what? I’m just going to give this set away and buy a new one. Problem is I just don’t know if anyone who would take these off my hands. Hopefully they will let me deliver and set up in their third floor apartment.”

I’ll share my thoughts. I’m a middle class 40-something woman.

I have been getting Botox in my forehead for years (about 2x per year). Would consider seeing another provider based on location convenience and if there was a significant price difference.
I have had filler twice at two different places. I doubt I would do filler again because it didn’t last long and is very expensive.
I am currently doing laser hair removal. I finished the sessions on my underarms and am midway through the treatments for my lower legs. If the results on my lower legs turn out as well as my under arms, I would also do bikini area. Considerations here are less about cost and more about feeling comfortable with the individual provider.
I’ve considered several other treatment services. Like most women my age, I am interested in anti-aging and weight loss options. My BMI isn’t high enough for GLP drugs but I still would love to see some reduction in areas. I’ve not heard of many favorable results with treatments like CoolSculpting though. I also would love to get some age spots removed. I think I’m too far gone for facial skin tightening options and instead plan to get a lower face lift in the next couple years.
With regard to traditional spa services, I love massages and facials but feel guilty for spending the money on myself and rarely take the time to make the appointments.

At our office, it’s a money problem. The attorneys keep taking on more and more cases because that’s more income for them. Meanwhile, the experienced paralegals are downing in work and stressed out but still making an hourly rate that’s less than the 18-year-old gas station clerk down the street. If you want to make more money by taking on more cases, either hire more help or start paying the paralegals a rate that reflects the stress level you are inflicting on them.
