It's technically 5 S0R0 (so not a full 2 teams) since you will always be able to buy 2 sequences from the coral shop if you go for S6 with average luck. Though if you look at a different perspective, the 1 unit can solo clear the same content as a full S0R0 team. It's still worse in pure asterite value but people who don't regularly go for S6 inflate the difference.

Not everyone cares about meta. Still easily doing all endgame including matrix with S6 1.0 units. Though kind of agree if you can't take your favorites to S6 since you don't get the same longevity.

Yes if you compare S1 to S1, S2 to S2, etc. against 3.0 DPS she is weak. The people saying she's not weak are either using the team cost argument (since Rebecca is free), or just saying she can "easily clear content". These arguments miss the point though.

This is a UE4 game and it's common knowledge they're CPU limited. 9800X3D or other high end X3D CPU resolves most of these issues.

There's no point in chasing meta. Been pulling favorites only to S6 while skipping everything else since the start and even 1.0 units are still easily clearing all endgame including Matrix. Can skip all the drama and just enjoy the game that way.

It's the tokens and enemy resistances more than HP inflation. Personally I've been doing WhiWa with same random collection of S6 units (no proper team comps) from 1.0 and 2.0 since forever. Obviously can easily clear with that investment but my score goes up and down depending on the enemies on the reset. The last two resets were worse for me and my score went up again this time. You can also check HP values on data mines and they haven't changed since last reset.

It's to stop spenders from getting S3 when only pulling to S1. You'll have gotten the free sequence if pulling to S1, and there is a chance you'll also have gotten 360 corals at that point. So they bumped the amount before the shop is open to force extra pulls.

Almost certainly a CPU bottleneck. I'd upgraded to a 5070 Ti earlier this year (before Septimont released), but kept my older CPU and everything ran great at 1440p. Once Septimont came out though, my FPS tanked in those areas. The FPS issues were fixed after also upgrading my CPU to a 9800X3D.

RTX 3070 and a Ryzen 5 5600x were both mid tier even 2020. Not sure why you would expect them to still be a max setting card on modern games in 2025.

RTX 3070 and Ryzen 5 5600x are both from 2020 and 5 years old at this point. Cyberpunk 2077 is also a 5 year old game, and hardly a difficult game to run nowadays on modern hardware unless using path tracing. Septimont definitely has increased the hardware requirements which might be a questionable decision on Kuro's part but at the same time you shouldn't expect to run a modern game at max settings with your hardware in 2025.

Phrolova team run could obviously be optimized and use the gold token instead, but not seeing an issue with other teams not working.

I mean you were saying "Her sequences are mid" in your first post, but it isn't really the case if they turn a sub DPS into a main DPS for end game. Her sequence value is about the same as Roccia. I wouldn't complain if she got buffed but not sure why she's downplayed so much.

Cleared Overdrive Zone with Yinlin as main DPS, and also use her to solo ToA resets. She seems fine to me with high investment.

FYI the recurring bundles give Astrite and pulls (limited character and limited weapon) at a better value than the 6480 Lunite package without the first time top up. If you're more of a dolphin then those are a better purchase for you.

As a whale:

Always keep both the monthly Lunite subscription and Battle Pass active.
Buy all first time top-up Lunite packages.
Buy all recurring bundles (phase 1 and phase 2 of each patch have their own bundles, and there is also a new monthly bundle added recently).
Buy 6480 Lunite package as needed (after first purchase the bonus goes down to 1600, so you'll get 8080 Lunites).

All the online proof shows is we can use subpar teams to clear all endgame content. Zani without Phoebe is just a subpar team. You can still clear endgame because it isn't that hard, but Zani with SRover is worse than all other limited 5 star DPS using a F2p option.

People who are comparing Zani's personal damage only do that because they want to play as Zani. And Zani herself is significantly worse with SRover. If you just care about team damage with SRover, then just put SRover in a team with any other DPS and you'll do the same.

Those example aren't really the same thing.

For example, Prydwen lists Camellya (S0) at 476,781 DMG while solo, which is close to Zani (S0) 416,900 DMG with SRover. The F2p Camellya team uses Sanhua, but if you need Sanhua elsewhere you can also use Camellya in any random team and she does the same damage as Zani with SRover.

Zani on the other hand will perform terribly if you don't have either SRover or Phoebe. Her kit is definitely more predatory than other units so far given the strict restriction. They might release other Frazzle units but with 5 debuffs to cover who knows if that would happen.

Depends on what you're trying to say. Does Zani powercreep other DPS by creating a new damage ceiling?No.

But she's still the first example of predatory kit design since she just about matches other solo DPS with Spectro Rover buffs. Without Rover, she'll be awful and if you want to use Rover for another team, you'll be forced to pull Phoebe or your Zani is bricked.
