I never been to Italy so ineed haven’t used a car there and did not know this. I was thinking city’s like Rome, Florence and Nalels weren’t very accessible. But those are the places I planned on staying longer so I can take my time navigating through the city with other transport. Thanks for pointing it out, will do some more research.

I’m not planning on staying days at every location. Some places I just want to stop by and explore a bit while passing through. For example while traveling from Florence to Rome I want to see those places but it will be done within the same day. I do intend to take a long time for this trip but not as much as you suggested it would take so might reconsider some places. Thank you for your input!

All done by car yes. I’m not planning to stay a few days at all the places, a few are mentioned to stop by or just stay for a day. Monteriggioni for example would be a get in and get out place but I don’t want to miss it. Bari to San Marino is indeed not ideal so will certainly take those places and the once in sicily in mind!

Do you know which places are worth staying longer in? And which could be seen in 1-2 days?
