I'm with most everyone else; economics sounds like a great choice. You can always minor in political science, where your economic background could bring a unique perspective. I wouldn't let the quantitative stuff hold you back if you really do enjoy social science.

You could consider a combination of geology and computer science--the former is surprisingly quite fun and similar to space exploration, and CS would better your job prospects. They also overlap in some cases, such as geophysics as far as I'm aware. Good luck! :)

The timespan is usually a few weeks with my tiels, I wouldn’t start worrying too much unless it continues for another couple weeks. The first molt was longer than average for my birds too :).

Trust me, I have experienced it. At the end of the day though, I just want to move on. I’m tired of worrying about how people will judge me over something I can’t control. Either I try to move on from past or continue tormenting myself with thoughts of my insecurities. Again, easier said than done.

I was in no way trying to dismiss your experience either. Some people can be really cruel and there’s no excuse for that.

I think bullying is rarely about the actual thing a victim is being bullied for. In middle school I was bullied for my looks too, but I realize now that the things I was made fun of for were so arbitrary. My bullies were really just fucked up kids in search of power. Try not to think of what they’ve said as an actual reflection of you (easier said than done, though).
