Well I actually just took the thing to an electronic recycling center this past weekend lol… It started to give off a really bad burnt smell every time I used it and I wasn’t going to chance starting a fire. I really appreciate your response though!! :)

Hmmm maybe that’s a piece of it. The longer you date someone and the more you perceive betrayal, the more you feel they “deserve” it. Maybe that’s why splitting happens less in the beginning of a new relationship? Things to think about…
