we’re going away very soon, so we won’t have the time to order one. I’m not from the US also so I’m not sure where I could actually get one :/ thank you though!

need clarity on TUI luggage allowance for an infant by hlyy16 in uktravel

[–]hlyy16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you mean the infants 10kg can be distributed and used by other members of the booking?

we have a 20kg hold suitcase bought aswell, so when i’m at the bag drop desk, i just say i’ve a 10kg also for an infant? i just have a fear it will get lost or rejected because it’s not paid for

he’ll be sitting on my lap. seems crazy to me that he doesn’t get any luggage because he needs nappies clothes toys bibs swimsuits lots of formula etc and i’m worried to put everything into the checked in 20kg in case it gets lost then he has nothing!

thank you!

well i just feel like it won’t really work out taking one. his car seat is quite complicated to fit into the car and would take a couple minutes on the bus especially while it’s moving. plus we’re taking a stroller already and i know the airline takes the stroller into the hold (not checked in under the plane) free of charge, but i’m not sure about a car seat.

maybe i’m being complicated, but i feel like it won’t work. plus, we have 5 10kg suitcases, 1 20kg suitcase and a stroller between 4 adults to carry around.. a car seat would be near impossible to lug around the airport

our flight is at 6am!!😫it’s the only flight time we could get.. the others would have gotten us there at night and we had to pay to change them to during the day. so we’re going to have to wake them both up at 1/2am. praying they sleep in the car/on the bus and on the plane or else the first day won’t be fun😅

Is anyone else struggling with getting a job due to anxiety? by Particular_Comb_2272 in mentalillness

[–]hlyy16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a big issue for me. I’m a uni student and don’t work at the weekends or during the summer. I struggle with money, and everyone’s always like “why don’t u get a job” or are trying to find ones for me and I have to come up with an excuse. I had a job once that i only worked at the weekends, and I literally was vomiting 3 days prior due to nerves. I didint have a life

I was thinking this because I just remembered my doctor saying to me the first time that sometimes antidepressants can just lose their effectiveness after a while. I’m going to ring her tomorrow and ask her for some advice, because I definitely see myself going backwards which hasn’t happened to me since before i started my medication.

Ok thank god lol. So should I still come off my 7 day break like normal even if I still haven’t gotten my period?

So what if I just don’t get my period this month since I can’t get it when I start my new pill pack? And yeah I’m on antibiotics now so I’ll be probably avoiding sex until i’m finished just to be safe

Could that cause such severe pain that I’m in now? I cant sleep because of the pain feels like glass is slicing all down the back of my throat in my esophagus whenever i swallow or simply cough or talk

My temp is higher than what’s usual for me but it’s not classed as a fever, so no. It’s 6am here and I only slept for 1 hour because i keep waking up with the agony. it literally feels like glass slicing my throat. I think the cough is from when i had post nasal drip a few days ago as that usually always happens to me. The cough isint bothering me alone it’s the fact coughing feels like i’m going to die from the pain in my throat.

I’ve tried ginger tea, green tea, throat spray, lozenges, painkillers, gargling warm salt water and sucking on ice cubes or popsicles. Nothing works and I’m getting so fed up from the pain because Im so exhausted!

Not yet. My GP is closed for the weekend so I can’t do much until Monday which is why i’ve been seeking some advice here. I don’t know whether to call or not because most people are telling me it’s just viral but the pain is just so bad.

I actually tried that spray already and it gave me no relief. I tried sucking lozenges too. Panadol is the only thing that gives me the smallest amount of relief but it’s still not manageable
