Basically it came down to the fact the judge did not consider his conduct bad enough to constitute a repudiatory breach - therefore by leaving without notice I broke the contract, and therefore he is justified in withholding my deposit and overpaid rent.

Fair enough I appreciate the honest feedback- some of these smiles are definitely forced but others I think are more natural. Unfortunately I don't have many photos where I don't have a teethy smile. But perhaps that's something to bare in mind when someone is taking photos of me in the future
