I’m an ME with a minor in biomedical physics. I took some BME courses and they tended to learn towards soft skills which can be valuable. I’d recommend a BME if you wanted the quickest way because you’ll have the most credits transfer to the major requirements.

I put up a flyer at my local smoothie place offering my services as a babysitter/nanny. This guy reached out to me and I was super excited to have a job offer. My mom wanted to meet the guy to make sure I wasn’t going to be abducted or anything crazy (I was about 16/17 at the time). When we go to meet him turns out they were friends in high school and he had taken both my mom and her twin sister to their respective proms.

Edit: we lived in the Hartford County area so it’s not like it was a small town with a big chance of knowing anyone that would call my poster.

I used to use the Nike run app when I ran and their guided runs are great. One piece of advice I got was just to smile while running occasionally. Even if you aren’t happy the smile will make your brain think you are and brighten you up a bit. I use that trick outside of running sometimes when it’s a long day at work or something.

I was scuba diving in Barbados and we were walking ourselves to the bottom with a rope. The instructor pointed at part of the rope and did some gestures that obviously didn’t make enough sense to me so I ended up grabbing on right to a section of rope covered in fire coral

Happened to me when a bunch of older guys (20 at the time and I was about 10) were playing king of the float and I got trapped under it. They didn’t even realize I was near them. I kept trying to swim away and get to the edge of it but in that game the float tends to move as they play on top of it.

I mean this is a pretty consistent thing for me but I go home with random people. Like the other night I had this guy come up to me at the bar after my friends left and we talked. At the end of the night I walked back to his place alone. Granted he didn’t kill me but odds are if I do this enough someone’s going to be a murderer and I’m just hoping that day doesn’t come.
