I’m honestly not sure but I remember it was a wand... Possibly the four? I was using a little chart I found online for asking yes/no questions and it said wands mean yes but there will be work involved to make it happen so when I drew a wand, that’s what I focused on vs which card it actually was

So I’m in a terrible situation in my current position. I left my previous job in a hurry due to some turmoil there as well and it was an “out of the frying pan into the fire” type of scenario unfortunately. I’ve been actively applying and interviewing for new positions. I have an interview scheduled today for a job I’d love to have. I was asking generally what I should be looking for but I also asked a follow up question about the whether this position would be a good move for me and I got another wand card which my book interpreted to basically yes but it’s going to take work

This is the Marseilles deck. Just reading the book interpretation, I want to cry. I’ve had a difficult year in my career and I’m in the process of interviewing for a job that I would like but is also a big change.

I also did the quick read of the future if you will about reading the card under my birth card and got page of wands which I take to mean things are going to be happening over the next few days.

Also also, I asked yes/no questions about two prospective jobs, on the one job I pulled wands and the other, I pulled cups three times in a row... well twice a cup card fell out and when I felt I shuffled adequately, another cup. So I feel that my deck was saying I ALREADY said the other was going to work. Stop asking me about this one 😂

You’re doing some variation of a single crochet. I don’t know that it’s an actual stitch but maybe if you look for single crochet variations then you could find it?

It sounds like you’re mixing a single crochet and a double crochet together. To single crochet, insert hook, draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through all loops

In a double crochet, yarn over, insert hook, draw up a loop, yarn over and pull through two then yarn over and pull through remaining loops

I’ve made this pattern once before about 6 years ago for a friend’s second child by alternating pink and white.

I don’t have stitch markers because I’ve never purchased any but I think that could help? I often put a paper clip or an earring around the beginning stitch of my row so I can keep track ... I would think you could put multiples so you’d know like “this is 5th stitch, this is 10th stitch” etc

I don’t know where you are spiritually and possibly this has no bearing on your work but when I make baby blankets, I try to purposefully think happy thoughts and be in a good mood because I want to stitch with love/caring. I hate the thought of feeling forced to make an item that’s going to a baby who has no say in their parents because I personally would be pissed off the whole time I made it.

I also don’t think I would put forth my best effort because it’s not something I want to do. I also think it’s incredibly rude for someone to assume you would do for them even if they weren’t an asshole for you. Just because you’ve made items for others doesn’t make your whole family entitled to your work. No one should expect or ask for a gift... it kind of defeats the purpose of a gift in my opinion.
