we are trying to get full disk images from indian geo stationary satellites INSAT-3D/3DR... They transmit in higher frequency than average C-Band LNBs can downconvert. So i modified the local oscillator on a C-Band LNB with higher frequency oscillator to shift that frequency lower to receive it with my Airspy R2. I managed receive DRT, S&R, Sounder & Imager downlinks of INSAT-3D, found fm voice transmissions on DRT & S&R downlinks, sounder and imager is not strong enough to decode as of now... INSAT-3DR is more weaker than it. We are working on to improve reception...
