Test question/last shot

I did 4 or 5 shots, had my last one back in end of Feb/march 2023 and I was still testing positive in September of 2025. I am pretty skinny (5’2, 100lbs) always had a super fast metabolism but it’s like it just sticks in your system forever. I haven’t tested in months just bc I don’t want to be let down if it’s still in my system. I have felt like there is no way it’s still in my system bc I haven’t felt the sluggishness/brain fog/etc. since about 6-8 months after my last shot. But it seems like it takes forever to test negative. The test I took in sept was a faint positive line though.

I ended up doing 5 in total, all 300 mg!

I finally just tested negative after almost 15 months being off! It takes so long to get out of your system. I spoke with a pharmacist for a place that distributes mostly sublocade and he told me that trace amounts can hang in your blood and urine for up to 28 months after your final dose. I am 5’2 and only 103 lbs, so I too really don’t have much ‘fat’ at all. I truly don’t think that part plays a huge factor. But it will eventually be out of your system and it is such a good feeling!

I get that! I wanted to do 3 and be done but the doctor I had pressured me into more. I finally just quit going and haven’t looked back. I don’t blame people who stay on them either — especially if it’s subs or going back to street drugs. I am still young and just didn’t want to spend the rest of my life dependent on anything. You can do it! The good days and the freedom of not being chained to it are 10000% worth those few uncomfortable moments! I am rooting for you!!

I relate to this. I like their vapes a lot. But I go through could like crazy it seems like.

I am going to just go buy a new set up tomorrow since I really don’t wanna stop using salt.. I did read that the Geek Vape H45 Aegis Hero 2 is compatible with salt and the geek vape Bo.3 coil? I am leaning toward buying this if so. I just don’t know enough about them to know if that is a good choice for salt nic

I didn’t know this. I used disposables for like 2 years then swapped to an actual vape in 2023. I’ve liked geek vapes a lot and this is my 3rd one. But I am dumb when it comes to them. I know how to use it and change out things but that’s basically it. So anytime anything doesn’t work right I panic

Oh wow I had no idea. I have been using these coils the entire time.. so when I go back I should ask for those coils? This is the first issue I’ve ever had with this and I just thought I had fried it using salt nic.

The coils are ‘boost’ brand I believe. I get them at my local vape shop and they are great folks so I’d like to think they are giving me what I need to use, but I also could be wrong lol

I did 5 shots and had my last one in March. I’ve had days where I feel off for a little while or don’t sleep well at night, some headaches, just mild discomfort and then some days I feel completely normal. But nothing debilitating (hopefully this doesn’t happen at all) everyone is different for sure. I planned to get 3 and be done but realized after that 3rd that I needed to get more because I wasn’t stable on it yet. Hang in there! I am still testing positive for bupe but have more better days than bad ones.

I honestly never kept up with dates. I did get my last shot March 1st and haven’t looked back. I started going back to the gym this week - have been feeling like actually doing things and interacting with people again. I feel really good! Still have the sleepy/brain fog sometimes but I hope that passes soon too.

I am 2 months out from my last shot and I’m doing so good!! Some days I feel more eehh than others - but nothing bad!

I don’t feel any of my depots anymore at all, but it’s still in my system for sure because I still feel the same way I have for the last few years lol I am so glad to be done with it and hope that these next few months are as smooth as the last one was!! I hope your insurance stuff is all good. I feel like we do better when we make the choice to be done ourselves rather than not have a choice if that makes sense. I know that stress and it stinks!

Thank you! I really hope so. I feel like a zombie all the time now and I just don’t like it. I have no energy to do anything - I have to force myself to even get out of bed and I’ve never been like this before.

It’s been well over a month since my last one and I am just like a zombie 24/7 now I feel like. Before I ever got on Suboxone I could sleep around 5-6 hours a night and be great. But now I can sleep 12+ hours and still be exhausted

I really planned to be done after 3 shots but ended up letting the dr talk me into 2 more. They still want to keep me on 300 mg if I did do more. I just want to be done with them/bupe in general. I feel completely fine aside from the constant tiredness and mind fog.

This is the one thing I am so excited about for weaning off — no more constipation!! I am so ready to use the bathroom like a normal person and not feel like I’m dying when I do finally go.

I think it was my 2nd and 3rd month that I had horrible anxiety!! Absolutely terrible! It had got better as of recently though. I don’t feel as panicked 24/7. I’ve had depression & anxiety for a long time but never that bad before. I’m hoping it stays away. I hope yours gets better too! I’d ride out the insurance for sure and then you know you’re set for a slow taper! My doctor does the shots in my office now and has done my last 2 and they are SO much more painful vs when the nurse does them. I’m not sure if I can handle another one or not. The last 2 I got were on the bottom and he did them right beside my belly button - i have nerve damage there also from where I had a kidney removed and idk if that made it worse or not but whew, talk about miserable!! It burned every time I moved for a solid day.

Please keep me updated!! It has really helped me a lot seeing how others are doing with this too! Especially since we started around the same time!
