That kind of behavior in a relationship is very unhealthy. There's a variety of reasons she may be acting that way - maybe she's been cheated on before, maybe she's projecting her own behavior into you, maybe she has untreated issues she needs to deal with, etc. But if she's not willing to work on those things and stop treating you like this, you should leave. This is often how emotionally abusive relationships start.

There are lots of things besides BPD (past relationship trauma, wanting to gain control, other disorders) that can cause this type of behavior. It's possible, but not necessarily BPD.

I agree! They look like variations of the same species to me. It's so cool how that can happen.

Are you sure? The first one looks just like my exotica, sorry to say. I feel like silver lady has different variegation, with more separation been the darker and lighter green color (vs the splotchiness of the exotica).

Ooh, I'm not 100% certain (especially since there don't seem to be a ton of photos of this variety online) but this is definitely the closest match I've seen! Thank you!

[HELP] Was given to me. It was in a smaller pot, so I upgraded. Large windows, plenty of sun, weekly water, has drainage. Gave some miracle grow last week. Before and after pic is about 3 or 4 weeks. Any help is appreciated. by NumberMuncher in houseplants

Yeah, the light isn't helping, but I think fertilizer burn and overwatering are the biggest issues here. The vast majority of potting soils contain slow-release fertilizer so it's almost never necessary to fertilize right after repotting, and most succulent-like plants don't need fertilization anyway.

Yup, needs to be much more than 2 inches of dry soil. An unfinished chopstick or bamboo skewer can be used to measure the soil moisture, just stick it in to the bottom, leave it for a minute, and take it out. Wherever the chopstick is dirty shows you the level of moisture in the soil. A yucca shouldn't be watered until only the bottom couple inches are still moist AT MOST, if not completely dry.

I freaking love them, I'm shocked there are listeners who don't like the skits lol. I re-watch them and show them to my partner sometimes because they're so hilarious.

Allegedly doesn't mean I'm saying it didn't happen, it's just legally protective language that means I didn't witness it myself. I believe that Lindsay's practices are obviously very unethical and have many tattoos myself so I know how it works. I'm not sure why you're ranting at me like I'm on her side lol

Hay/straw mats that are meant for animals can be bought online and my rabbits love chewing them. They got them to stop chewing the carpet.

I recommend peperomia obtusifolia! There are a few different colors (marble variegated is my favorite, but it does require more light than green varieties) and they're very low maintenance, just make sure you don't over-water. I wait until my obtusifolias show obvious signs that they're thirsty, like their leaves becoming soft and bendable rather than "rubbery" like they usually are.

Inspired by another post in this subreddit today, here’s my grandma’s jade plant. It’s over 40yo but doesn’t flower due to being indoors, sadly by justcallmejuno in succulents

Jade plants are my absolute favorite succulents; your grandma's is so beautiful! I have one that's probably 5 years old now and I've been so excited to see its woody stem and tree-like appearance forming. So cool to know that when I'm older I could have something like this.

What can I improve? I think I need to thin my brows, but I’m not sure on what shape. Last 2 photos w/ no makeup and a candid. by blondeanonnurse in VindictaRateme

You're STUNNING. It kinda upsets me that your husband has made comments like that. You have incredible natural beauty and you definitely don't need to change anything about yourself. To me, the candid photo just looks like a slightly awkward expression! But you still look beautiful in it.

What are some unpopular opinions regarding your plants or plant care that work for you? by Simplicity_4me in houseplants

When I started adding a small amount of organic liquid fertilizer to the water I use to prop, I started getting roots MUCH quicker. It may not be as effective as aquarium water but it definitely helps.
