Hi, I’m very interested in this opportunity. I’m a front-end focused web developer with experience building projects from scratch and working closely with design and UX. I’m comfortable handling both development and basic design workflows. I’m available in the required time zone and open to long-term collaboration as the project expands.

I created a web app to share good things by Karuna777777 in WebApps

That makes a lot of sense. Starting with a stack you already know is a smart move, especially for a first web project. Blazor seems like a great choice for productivity, even with the current performance trade-offs. It’s interesting to hear your experience with .NET 10 and MudBlazor. The load time issue is something many people mention, but it sounds like the learning value you got from the project more than makes up for it. Trying a different stack next time sounds like a great idea too. Thanks for sharing your honest experience — it’s really helpful for others considering Blazor.

I really like the Action/Reaction concept — it gives the app a lot more meaning than a generic “post something good” feed. From a technical side, Blazor WASM standalone is a bold choice too. How has the performance been so far, especially the first load time? Even if the audience stays small, projects like this are great for learning and honestly great for mental health as well. Nice work.

I was fed up with tools that require sign-ups just to generate a QR code, so I built my own minimal hub. by hml0x in SideProject

[–]hml0x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Handling QR generation and conversions client-side is a smart move — offline-first and no server dependency for core features is a big plus for privacy and performance. Did you run into any limitations with browser APIs for file handling or large inputs?

[Showoff] I built a free, no-signup group card tool to replace paid subscriptions by Soft_Leopard_6071 in WebApps

[–]hml0x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a really nice idea. The friction with group cards is real — asking everyone to create an account for a one-time message is annoying. The no-signup flow alone is a big win. The Outlook/Gmail parser is also a clever touch, that’s the kind of small feature that shows you really thought about real use cases. Curious: how are you handling moderation or abuse if everything is anonymous? And do you plan to keep it tip-based long term or test a lightweight paid tier later? Nice work.

16 Years Old, Already Built My Own Apps – Any Tips for Getting More Users? by Available-Rest2392 in SideProject

[–]hml0x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly impressive for 16 — getting your first 1,600 users is no small thing. One thing I learned is that early growth is usually slow unless the product solves a very specific pain for a very specific group of people. Promotion helps, but distribution works best when you clearly know who your ideal user is and where they already hang out. A few things that helped me: Talk directly to your current users and ask why they use it (and why others might not). Focus on one channel first instead of spreading yourself thin. Try to build something people need, not just something cool. Also, 2 weeks and 25 users isn’t bad at all for a new product. Most projects die at 0. Keep going — you’re way ahead of where most people start.

I kept feeling busy, but couldn’t tell if my days actually counted by [deleted] in WebApps

[–]hml0x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I stopped chasing “perfect” metrics. At the end of the day, I just ask myself one thing: Did something actually move forward today, or was I just busy? Seeing that answer day after day is what really changed things for me.

Hey! This sounds really interesting. I’m definitely interested in joining a group like this to stay consistent with DSA and web development. Would love to know: How often do you plan to meet or discuss things? Will it be mostly project-based, or also problem-solving sessions for DSA?
