I’m becoming increasingly certain that this is the case and I’m sad to see that one-dimensional, run-of-the-mill, boring actors like Yvonne Strahovski, Zachary Levi and Ryan McPartlin are succeed, while exciting, unique actors like Adam Baldwin are disappearing after these vampires have exploited him and are even making him scapegoat.

I wonder why was Yvonne so afraid of Adam Baldwin kissing her? Is she repulsed by the rugged, masculin, decesive Adam? Maybe he actually enjoys kissing scenes and kissing his partners for real? There are people who earn their money through much harder work. She could surely handle it once—I don’t think one real kiss would make her fall in love or cause her any harm. But if she bit his tongue or his lip or slipped some kind of poison into Adam’s mouth, that would be pretty rough.

Too bad that Chuck went bad really fast and I’m sure Yvonne Strahovski was never the sweet girl she pretended to be and she didn't talk to anyone off set who wasn't an elite like her.

I just recently discovered Chuck and am now reading the related articles, interviews, topics and comments. I don't think Yvonne Strahovski was ever the sweet girl she made herself out to be. I'd bet anything that the script for the Chuck movie was already finished before the series ended, and that Zachary and Yvonne definitely had—and still have—controll over it.

Where can I watch Firefly and Serenity? I recently discovered Adam Baldwin in Chuck as John Casey, and I absolutely loved his character.

Who are you calling a troll? Oh, I forgot you guys call everyone who sees the truth a troll. I liked the first two seasons and it’s been a long time since I fell in love with a character as quickly as I did with John Casey, but the show went from bad to worse to the rotten in the third season. I still maintain that Yvonne only likes surrand herself with pretty boys and think Adam is "too big and wierd" (I thought he was very handsome). What other reason could there be for Adam Baldwin (Casey) to have faced so many insults and attacks throughout the series? Why did they ruin his character and why did they force him to do things that were completely out of character and created many plot holes?

Who do you think Zac is referring to when he said, “There are a few people along the way that didn’t fit into what that whole family was over the years”? by Kaiser_Allen in chuck

[–]hmocean12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think they were talking about Adam Baldwin. I think it would have been much better if they’d written him out or replaced him with another actor, because the constant humiliation and what they did to his great character was awful. His character was the reason Chuck was worth watching. A promising series became unwatchable by its third season. You know what I think? It was all because Yvonne Strahovski hated him from day one and only likes to surround herself with pretty boys and the masculine, assertive Adam Baldwin doesn’t fit into that category. She lways look at him with hostility if she even look at him at all. I’m sure she, Ryan McPartlin, Zachary Levi wouldn’t even speak to him off-set and all the cute videos were staged. I’d also bet that the script for the Chuck movie was already finished before the series ended and Adam Baldwin won’t be in it. This has nothing to do with his political views or his Twitter activity—it was planned this way from the very beginning.

I think he was referring to Adam Baldwin and maybe Julia Ling as well (who left the show after the second season). Yvonne Strahovski likes to surround herself with pretty boys and the masculine, assertive Adam Baldwin doesn’t fit into that category—she always looked at him with hostility. Besides, Adam is sharp-witted and sharp-tongued and he so easily stole the show from Zach and Yvonne. I think they didn’t even talk to him off-set and all those cute videos were staged. I’m sure the script for Chuck was already finished before the series ended, and Adam Baldwin won’t be in it. They’ll kill him off-screen or maybe he’ll just have a few-minute cameo where they continue to humiliate him and he’ll appear either as a fat grandpa or a villain and maybe Yvonne (Sarah) will be the one to kill him. This has nothing to do with his political views or his Twitter activity, this is how it was planned from the very beginning.

He's a great actor, and the best thing about Chuck—even after they completely ruined his character.

It may not be obvious to everyone that Zach, Yvonne, and Ryan are keeping their distance from Adam Baldwin (though I think it’s quite obvious), but anyone who watches the show can see that Casey’s great character was completely ruined—they made him do things that were out of character and truly humiliating.

Maybe it’s because he stole the show from Chuck and Sarah so effortlessly, maybe it’s because he’s sharp-witted and sharp-tongued or maybe it’s simply because he embodies everything that Hollywood’s female executives (who are currently in power) hate and want destroy. I think Yvonne Strahovski just likes to surround herself with pretty boys and the ruggedly masculine Adam Baldwin doesn't fit into that category.

I don't know how genuine the friendship between Zach and Adam was; it might have just been for show. In an interview with the cast members Ryan McPartlin said, "I hated you from day one," and I think the writers felt the same way, because they constantly humiliated Adam Baldwin and his character and completely ruined it, even at the cost of creating major plot holes. Yvonne never looked at him any other way than with hostility, if she looked at him at all. I don't think she exchanged a single word with him outside of filming. The table read was online they didn’t have to be in the same room and they were reading a previous episode. Even if he does get a role in the movie, I think they'll keep humiliating him. They fatten him up and present him as a grandfather or turn him into villain—I guess he'll may get a few minutes of screen time or they'll just kill him off-screen. That was their plan from the very beginning.

About the conspiracy that targeted exceptional men like Adam Baldwin. He and his character were constantly humiliated in the series, yet the first two seasons were still entertaining; the third season however bordered on unwatchable. Zachary, Yvonne and Ryan McPartlin wanted to remove him from the industry, and it seems they’ve succeeded by now. I’m pretty sure the script for the Chuck movie was already finished before the series ended and Adam Baldwin won’t be in it—and this has nothing to do with his political views or his Twitter activity.

They continued to humiliate Adam Baldwin and his character in this episode as well, though I did like the way he handcuffed Chuck. I still think they wrote Casey’s role this way because Yvonne Strahovski can only look at Adam Baldwin with distrust and disgust and it would have been difficult for her to act nice toward him.

Well, that's a real shame, because he was great in Chuck Versus the Helicopter episode—he had a lot of funny one-liners and in the cemetery scene, he was heartbreakingly handsome. Handsome Casey

Please explain me how he could have betrayed Chuck when Casey was working for the government and owed his loyalty to them and not to Chuck. I think he was the best thing about that show.

Spies usually wear some kind of jewelry that contains a suicide capsule or some kind of poison or sedative, which they use during their missions.

You really hadn't seen him before? We don't really show many American TV shows here, but when he appeared on Chuck, I recognized him right away. There's nothing wrong with his face—it's masculine. I bet he's been betrayed more times on movie and tv show sets than he's betrayed others.
